This is a stunning boutique hotel right in the centre of the old town of Kotor. Before booking I felt it was a little expensive but it was worth every penny in the end. The staff were so efficient and so helpful, with booking restaurants etc. The rooms are are fabulous Grecian style exterior. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for two nights while on our honeymoon. Upon arriving, the hotel surprised us with a delicious cake to celebrate. We loved this hotel. They did a great job updating all of the rooms while keeping the overall feel of Old Town. One of the top things we loved about this hotel was the location. It was situated... More

I don't usually go in for boutique hotels. I prefer bigger, more impersonal hotels with all the bells and whistles. For me, "boutique" tends to mean pretentious smaller places with fewer of the luxuries one routinely finds in the Ritz-Carltons, Hiltons and Intercontinentals of this world. Scanning TripAdvisor for suitable accommodation in Kotor, I realised that there was no large... More

It has a good location in the center of Old Town, Kotor. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean. However, the most beautiful thing about Hotel Astoria is to have magnificient decorated rooms. Every room has unique consept and uniqur name, like Gama, Beta, Alfa, Vita.... The breakfast is poor, but not problem for us. I strongly recommended this... More

This is a quirky hotel which successfully manages to mix its 14th century exterior with an imaginative and adventurous 21st century decor. The rooms and bar/dining area are all individually decorated and very comfortable. The service in the bar/restaurant is excellent. The breakfast is pretty good. The staff are all exceptional - charming and helpful and genuine and smiley. The... More

Charming boutique hotel in old town of Kotor. Nice unique decoration and excellent service! The hotel has a nice restaurant and in some rooms a lovely sea view. Read my blog post about the hotel (in Finnish): http://secretwardrobe.bellablogit.fi/2014/06/10/hotellielamyksia/

The hotel is small and inconspicuous, but the lively rooms with some interesting design ideas are superb. We were lucky enough to receive what I think is by far the best room in the hotel, a balcony with a view to the bay, large living area and uplifting design. The hotel's restaurant is nice, and their "order anything you want"... More

I stayed here in the summer of 2013 with my wife for our anniversary. We loved it. The service was outstanding. The location was perfect and the room was all that we can ask for. Our room had a nice deck and overlooked the bay. This was the highlight of our trip to Montenegro. We loved Kotor and loved hotel... More

The hotel is in a great location just inside the city walls. The room was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. The staff we encountered in all departments were friendly and efficient. We stayed for two nights and were a little worried about the noise having read previous reviews but rest assured the windows are double glazed and... More

We loved the Hotel Astoria. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and we had the one and only room with a balcony overlooking the square. The highlight was the supermodern bathroom, with a large shower with many jets of water at different angles, and a marble sink that lit up from below, showcasing the grain in the stone (well,...
