We stayed 2 nights in the Thita room which was a junior suite and the one room facing the bay with a small balcony. We were so glad we paid a little more as the room was amazing and the view over the bay was even better. This hotel is perfectly located! Our room had a large king size bed,... More

We were greeted by helpful and enthusiastic employees. They had upgraded our room to overlook the bay. It was stunning. The internet worked and all of the gadgets were state of the art. The food was great too! The staff could not have been friendlier. We were so pleasantly surprised! Our room was delightful and we agreed that for the... More

Nice hotel with beautiful rooms and pretty good food. I didn't like having to wait 30 minutes for muesli at breakfast - breakfast was a la carte rather than a more typical buffet. The worst thing was that they allow smoking throughout all public areas so you had to spend your 30 minutes waiting for breakfast breathing filthy air. It... More

This is a small boutique hotel within the old city walls of Kotor. It is very clean and beautifully decorated throughout. We stayed in a room overlooking the sea and the views were wonderful. Breakfast was very good with good quality food. Svetlana at reception was absolutely lovely and helped us with a hotel reservation for the next day. I... More

Conveniently situated in an entirely refurbished palace, the greatest attraction of this hotel are the receptionists: really warm people prepared to put themselves out to make a memorable stay. The site is right behind the walls. To avoid looking straight out on the wall just a few metres away it would probably be better to choose the rooms Thita, Ita... More

We live 25km from Kotor and when ever we are in Kotor we eat in hotel Astoria. They have amazing food. You can choose between a lot of different soups, salads, meat and fish dishes, vegetarian main courses, sandwiches and desserts. The staff is very friendly, ready to help, they speak fluent english. If you are near, make sure you... More

Our one night stay here was great! The rooms were clean, spacious and well-maintained. The room we were in was modern in terms of updated amenities and fixtures yet still kept the style of the old town, to include wonderful exposed stone walls. The hotel staff were friendly and always ready to help. The hotel itself is in a great... More

We wandered into Kotor old town looking for a place for dinner. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from but the outside space of the Hotel Astoria looked very inviting and not a tourist type of restaurant. The menu is a large book of photos of each dish with translations and descriptions. We chose aubergine stuffed with onions and covered in... More

The Astoria is a wonderful hotel. The staff were so helpful, especially Dragana on the front desk. The rooms are stylish and beautifully furnished. The only downside to our stay, which had nothing to do with the hotel, was the nearby bar that played very loud music until 01.00 every night. The volume level was so high that opening the... More

On the positive side are: a perfect location, very friendly front desk, a restaurant which serves excellent evening meals; an included delicious breakfast which is ordered from the restaurant's breakfast menu; interesting décor in the common areas; and high speed internet. There was one important negative in our junior suite: completely inadequate lighting which made it impossible to read in... More
