The most beautiful place, the hotel was built in the USSR, but the atmosphere is kind of special, no sense, which occurs outside the home, friendly staff. The rooms are cozy, but small, we lived with a friend in the standart room. Service and kitchen is fine. The hotel grounds are well-kept, the beach is decent. It is a good... More

Our reservation was made for 21/08-23/08/2014 and we did arrive at at 22/08/2014 02:30 in the morning there was no greeting on the door and no bellboy only the stone faces of the security! Receptionist was a trainee and she charged us an early check in for the day which is a normal practice. I went to my room and... More

We stayed here in a deluxe room that was just fantastic. It is a big room with a large balcony overlooking all of Yalta. Spectacular views! It is a good 15-20 minute walk to 'downtown' but a pleasant one through beautiful streets and markets along the water. We would recommend Hotel Yalta but probably stay more central next time.

Pros: if you are looking for a resort vacation, this place is great, especially if you want to stay on resort. Beautiful resort, nicely updated from the Soviet days. Rooms have varying designs, decor styles, and oddly, quite varying bathroom fixtures (no problems with my bathroom, it was lovely, but my parents shower leaked water on the floor, and had... More

We were very impressed with most aspects of this hotel. A glorious position, a very slick check-in, an excellent and modern room, a first class buffet dinner and a generous breakfast in the impressive restaurant. The only real drawback is the amount of noise (very late night and very early morning) from other guests using the outdoor facilities. We would... More

Pulling up to the Intourist it is definitely an enormous building, but oddly has a whole games arcade outside the lobby and pleasant cafe. The lobby is breathtaking if you are expecting something Soviet, vast plains of marble, quirky lights and lit panels and a very modern bar/lounge area. Not much they can do about the pokey rooms and beds... More

Room was after repairing and was clean, good service, breakfast everyday the same. Swimming pool with sea water. Beach very far. This is my second time in this hotel. Reception staff are very polite and nice. Near the beach there is very nice caffe "Divan" price not high, good service, good food.

The hotel is one of the first choice in Yalta for middle/upper-class Ukrainians. So when choosing a hotel in Yalta I went in Yalta Intourist mainly for this reason. I wasn't disappointed at all. Au contraire, I was definitely well satisfied. The building is a typical soviet style one, and it is put in such a way that allows the... More

Great architectural masterpiece. But some updated details are poor (plastic doors/windows, ugly signs and art decors), and demonstrates incomprehension and disrespect to the great heritage, unfortunately.

This hotel is a combination of soviet time and modern service. It is hard for me to assess this place. I spent every summer during my childhood at Crimea, the last time i have been here at 2007 and wanted to come back a lot. My parents have visited this hotel 2 years ago and hardly recommended it. I should... More
