Fact is there are very few budget range lodging options in/or near the center of Old Lviv. The George Hotel not only offers a GREAT central location, but also an adequate and comfortable stay at a relatively good value. Economy rooms look like they were left like that since the Sowjet era. Way to toilet and shower facilities quite long. Showers were unclean. Showerhead was damaged. Breakfast was as well like in the old times: Everybody eats the same. One day it was 2 fried eggs, the next day a huge omelete and the third a pancake. No alternatives. more
