An awful throughback of a soviet hotel with grubby carpets, noisy doors at night and thin walls. The most miserable bar and front desk personnel who look at you with contempt for asking anything than what they have given you, a room move, faulty key, beer tab, all the staff looked at you as if they want to shoot you.... Great location, 10 mins walk to the very downtown through cozy park. Easy access by car - no central narrow streets needed to be passed. Hotel is a little bit big and interiors are old-fashioned somewhere but rooms are new and fine, breakfasts are of reach choice and staff is very friendly

The room was clean. The hotel's buffet selection wasn't bad. Tiny elevators. About 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city center, 5 minutes away from street cars and buses, and 15 minutes driving from the airport.

The rooms are awful, old and... just terrible! Very thin walls, you hear EVERY sound from the hallway. I stayed one night because we had a conference in the same hotel , so it was convenient for me. But I would not stay against out of my own free will. The breakfast was very-very good actually

Good rooms, nice view from the upper floors, fair breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, the front desk is not up to the same level: check-in and check-out takes an eternity; and the friendliness is, at best, modest. The make-up of the young front-desk lady in the morning of 28 October, 2015 was perfect - but neither her service, nor her friendliness was... More

We stayed three nights at the Dnister on the 7th floor. The view overlooking old town was amazing. Even with dirty windows that were impossible to open, we enjoyed watching the sun come up every morning and shine on the roofs of the old buildings. The hotel staff was amazingly courteous and helpful. Very service oriented. The breakfast is the... More

My wife and I spent one night at Dnister Hotel and were very pleased with our stay. The young woman at the front desk who helped us spoke excellent English and was very pleasant. The bellhop was also especially helpful and very pleasant. One notable feature about this hotel is its excellent location. It's right on Ivan Franko Park and... More

Clean rooms, great room and laundry services. The restaurant was fantastic with good variety and delicious. Nice walk to downtown / city square. Would recommend getting a cab back to the hotel since it is a little steep uphill the last few blocks. Rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. Elevators and floor security in place.measures

A big multi storeyed hotel with many types of rooms. Very well arranged guest reception procedure (from baggage porter service to invoicing). The view from hotel window is superb since this is probably the highest situated building in Lviv.
