Hotel Dnister is more of a convention-type hotel than a boutique. It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the town center but that was not too much of an inconvenience Allot 30 minutes walking time from train station. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was excellent. Good variety of food with omelet bar as well as local-style cuisine.... more

This is not a budget hotel and is worth staying only for those coming on business or not speaking Ukrainian The only reason why I stayed there is because it was booked for the wedding I attended and the dates coincided with the Ukrainian Independence day, so all other options (cheaper hotels and appartments) had been full by the time... more

The hotel is modern, located across a beautiful park and within easy walking distance to most sights. I thought the hotel was a good value compared with other hotels in the Ukraine. The room was clean and the service was satisfactory. The morning breakfast buffet and hotel restaurant was good - but I didn’t have a bad meal during my... more

It's very easy to get from the airport to the hotel Dnister. One can take taxi, order special transfer service, that hotel provides with, or if one does not have a lot of carry on - public transportation is available from the airport to the hotel ( on destination bus stop is 5 min away form the hotel Dnister). Great... more

Good location, just 10 minutes walk to city center and next to nice park. I arrived very late, check-in was fast and receptionists spoke English. Room is average, bathroom requires some renovation, however both were clean. Excellent breakfast is included in room rate. Good variety of cold and hot food. This is not 5 star property and is not intended... more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. This feels very much like a business hotel, in every respect. We stayed in a superior room for 750 uah per night (about $190 Cdn). Given the price in Ukraine, I would have expected a Marriott or Sheraton quality. This felt more like a Best Western. I later learned that this is... more

After reading previous reviews I arrived at this hotel with some trepidation. However I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, as were all the staff I had dealings with. Breakfast was fine. The room was smallish but perfectly adequate and clean. The location was excellent with a short walk into town. When I wanted to... more

It was horrible hotel. I would never recommend anyone to go to that hotel and I'm absolutely serious about this. First of all I booked this hotel via their website and I never got a letter of confirmation. So I called the hotel and verified that everything is fine. We arrived at 10 a.m. and front desk girls (who are... more

Dnister is in a great location, ok breakfast but check in rude and staff (apart from the bell boy who was very pleasant) terribly rude to me. I couldn't speak Ukrainian which may have been why. Room was nice and i did have a great view of the neighborhood. Although in most of Ukrainian i found people were generally rude... more
