Budget hotel close to the centre. Room was small but clean. No air conn or lift. Breakfast was late and not very good, and no one spoke english or seemed to care much about their customers. Lviv is a fascinating city though, full of life and history with great restaurants and quirky bars and a beautiful opera house. Much better... More

Spent two nights here. It was OK - rooms very small, no air con, but a free standing fan. No lift available. Breakfast was served much later than advertised and we were ignored by the waiters in favour of locals for half an hour. Very little English was spoken. They do have a good lock up room for luggage after... More

This hotel is for those who like accommodation in small hotels in downtown areas of the old European cities. It has a nice combination of the location in the old town and newly renovated building with the basic necessities for travelers. The hotel is clean, the furniture is new, beds are comfortable enough for the sound sleeping for a few... More

The hotel looks nice, and has very good location close to the downtown. However, the rooms are quite small (there were 3 of us), if one person walks, other two have to sit down. Also, the walls are very thin and if you have neighbours, you will hear them. We were lucky that our neighbours didn't stay awake for too... More

We spend a few days in this nice hotel, which is located in a block of flats. The entrance is in a court between the houses. The gate is always close, you have to ring if you want to enter. The hotel is located near to the theatre of opera and ballet (about 3 minutes walk) so you don't need... More

We just arrived from Ukraine, and Lviv is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and still, except for polish tourists, unspoiled by mass tourism. We stayed in Staryi Krakiv for 3 nights, between the 5th and the 8th of June. At first, we were worried because the street where it is located is being renewed and it... More

With the recent economic downturn, I sympathize with Ukrainians and the need to earn more of their local currency for daily life. But service will be the downfall of cities such as L'viv during its development if they continue to take advantage of foreigners. Although we cannot expect "American" or "Western" European standards of customer service, hotels such as Staryi... More
