We stumbled upon this hotel late at night. The hospitality is amazing, beautiful furnishings. The dining is superb one of the best dining experiences in all of Croatia. Impeccable detail and attentiveness . Decided to stay a second night. Lynne Houston texas

I had occasion to use Hotel Niko as a base of operations for an 8-night stay in late September - early October 2013. The hotel is not situated in the old town, but Zadar center is visible from the hotel and easily accessible by city bus or by car. My trip itinerary included a pretty rigorous schedule visiting historical sites... More

We had several hotels booked for a short fly drive visit to the region but not our last night. Asked to see the room on offer which was a triple offered at the same price as their double and it was most acceptable. The hotel was clean comfortable and with a good location. The dining experience in the hotel made... More

This is one of the better small hotels I've visited. The kindness and forthcoming from the staff is outstanding, the restaurant is very, very good, - which is not a matter of course in Croatia. Walking distance to Old-town somewhat long, but the environment at the shores are interesting, and the exercise gives you an appetite. The beach in front... More

We had two evening meals at the restaurant here as it is renowned for its wonderful seafood. My husband ate a steak also and declared it to be very tender and perfectly cooked. The presentation, the atmosphere, the delicious seafood and attentive service make this a great place to have a special meal. We did not stay at the hotel... More

A decent hotel, within walking distance of the town centre, whilst being next to the beach with free parking, added up to a very pleasant stay. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast was splendid including pancakes made to order and excellent latte. Our bedroom was large with a large, comfortable bed. I would happily stay at... More

This was was our third hotel in Croatia and we will always cherish memories of our very comfortable experience at this hotel. It is run by a family who obviously take immense pride in how they welcome and treat their guests. We had a lovely large room with a small balcony to relax in in the evenings. Dinner at the... More

A family owned business with an extremely friendly atmosphere, nice breakfast and good quality rooms without any restraint. Made our stay in Zadar a highlight of the holiday. Can recommend a 100 percent.

After a 7 day sailing trip from Dubrovnik we docked in Zadar and were ready for a real bed and shower. The hotel is set waterfront about a 10 minute drive to the old town. With free on site parking this made the Hotel Niko a perfect choice. But more importantly is the elegantly furnished rooms with a very comfortable... More

I highly recommend this lovely hotel. Nothing fancy, but excellent room and extremely warm and friendly staff. I would stay here again and again. Great area to stay in for a Zadar visit - perfect location, good restaurant and superior service.
