This hotel is to be avoided. The service was dreadful and only matched by the appalling food. I had travelled extensively in the old USSR in the 1980's and this hotel brought back memories of appalling service and ordinary food. I had expected the world and the Hotel Kolovare had moved on. The hotel reception smelled of very stale tobacco... more

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Just minutes to the water and the town, this modern hotel is very convenient. The lobby was inviting and the front desk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was included was fantastic. Huge selection and the food was delicious. The rooms were very nice and included small outdoor sitting areas. more

This hotel has obviously improved since the previous reviews. Desk staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We got into our room late morning and there was lots of free car parking. There are lots of renovations happening but no noise disturbed us. The salt water pool was appreciated and well maintained. It is a short walk to... more

Despite the usual sketchiness of this place, I really must admit that they've made some huge strides in improving their management and customer service. Prices are definitely a bit steep, though, which is costing it an "above average" rating for me. The check-in here is rigid but fair. We showed up quite a few hours early for check-in, and immediately... more

This hotel is a very nice hotel in a quiet part of the city but only a 10-15 min. walk from the city center. It is very clean and has a friendly staff. Very good restaurant in the hotel for dinner and breakfast. more

Stayed here for a week. The room was clean and comfortable although the air/con did not work in the first room. We were given a different room and there, the TV and the hair-drier did not work- the maint. staff advised us that half the rooms had ineffective cooling and mainenance problems due to shortage of maintenance staff. If you... more

A bit overpriced but so were most of the other 3* hotels in Zadar. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is pretty average, wouldn't recommend eating there, though good selection for breakfast (which is included). The pool area was nice and you are a 3 minute walk from the beach. more

I stayed in this hotel last weekend. The experience was terrible starting with lousy service at the front desk and ending with a fairly inedible breakfast the next morning. Air conditioning did not work enough to bring room to a temperature cooler than the sauna. Small room, outdated decor, overpriced. more

Now that Ryanair has opened up route from London to Zadar then we brits are going to need somewhere to stay. I had to abandon a sailing holiday 1 day early due to high winds so overnighted here. Firstly not cheap £96.50 inc breakfast for a twin as a walk in better surely if you phone ahead. Aircon in room... more

I've stayed here a few times, not my choice, and have always been amazed that the desk staff is still around. The hotel has no communication between the office staff and the front desk staff regarding requests. The hotel has no business center, copies are made using a fax machine, restaurant marginal, and the desk staff are hostile. The location... more
