The hotel is in a good location right on the sea and easy to walk to Zadar town in about 15 minutes. Big car park and really good that it is free. The hotel was clean and the room was nice however even after a second set of pillows, they were not great. The reception staff were very helpful. The... More

Situated about 20 mins walk from the old city, the hotel was very clean and well presented. Rooms were not overly large, beds were good without being brilliant. Helpful staff although not overly friendly. Free wifi and plenty of free car parking. Visited in low season so not many others around, restaurant very quiet and meal was just average. Could... More

It was a good distance from the old town. It was reasonable clean, close to the sea. good enough for a night or 2. We had no option as all the hotels were fully booked. Hotel is very old, the rooms were old. The beds weren’t that great. Breakfast was average. Staff were not of the friendliest .

I stayed for a conference in summer of 2012. Clean. Easy parking. Close to beach. Good AC - which was important. Good pizza place just down the road to the south where you can watch the sun set and drink beer. Within walking distance of old city. Very near bus depot and a grocery store. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast... More

We stayed at the Hotel Kolovare as part of a driving tour in Europe with a number of Aussies. We thought the hotel represented good value for money. The staff on reception were helpful & friendly, the rooms were good and the breakfast was fine. We appreciated not having to pay 20 or so Euro to park our cars as... More

The hotel is really old with a little modenization touch (e.g. newly installed electric key). The hallways are confusing with a lot of rooms. Service is great and parking lot is really huge for free. The foods are okay, not too great. The price of the foods and drinks in the restaurants are way too expensive though. It's within walking... More

This hotel is poor regarding all prestations : food very bad, cleaness to be reviewed, "aged" building and decor, furnitures. Noisy. The swimingpool, the beach at 50m and the beautiful city of Zadar are the only interests for this hotel......so far ! But you have to pay (expensive) for that !!! The Value for Money is lamentable. Stayed one night at the Kolovar as part of the Grand Croatia tour organized by Abreu/Travel Europe. Check-in was fast and the reception staff helpful, in total contrast with the restaurant staff that seemed not to even notice our presence. Food is regular with nothing special to be remembered. The room was very small and the beds even smaller. But,... More

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the bus station (cheap bus from airport) and 10 minute walk into the old town along the sea front. We had a 2 centre break and used the Kolovare for 3 nights at the start of the week and then 1 night at the end, so had 2 different rooms.... More
