My trip was in a group of motorcyclists. The rooms were good enough and the people very decent and helpful.Parking not great and open to all, Not the best if you are leaving your cherished bike and only means of transport out in the open although in fairness 15 bikes and no problems.15 Minute walk to a fabulous old historic town... This is not a hotel for a longer stay, although it's meant as such. The advantages are the location (next to the beach, nice & short walk away from the centre, some shops & bars nearby) and the balconies, the disadvantages the socialist feel which extends to the funny disinfecting smell the cleaners use. Good for a overnight stay, not... More

Compared with the price and having 4 stars you would expect more. The room is OK size, furniture OK except for the real old model of TV. Bathroom OK, not the cleanest though. Balcony - designers brain f--t. Instead of the view you get the look through bricks!?! Terrible, you feel like in a cage. The feeling of prison increases... More

We fould this hotel quite good for our 2 night stay in Zadar. The staff were pleasant and helpful ( even able to give directions to a local shoe repairer where my husband has his boot fixed for 10 kunas!!) A pleasant 10-15 minute walk into the old town.

I want to start on what I think is the most important aspect of a hotel - sound insulation. This hotel has some of the best I've ever experienced. I couldn't hear people on the toilet next door, snoring, conversation, television etc. That, coupled with the fact that the hotel is slightly off the main drag - but close enough... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Kolovare. We were in room 128, which was on the side facing the tennis courts, and had a limited view of the water. The mesh screen on the balcony was not a problem for us. The room was reached by walking down a long dingy-looking hallway. Our room was of sufficient size, but... More

this hotel is a 10 minute walk away from the old town walls and the old town and it is right across the road from the beach so it gives you a bit of the best of both worlds. and you will get a peaceful nights sleep which possibly cant be said if you stay in the old town centre... More

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights with a broader American, children's tour group visiting Croatia. First, I would not have personally booked this hotel based on these reviews and feel that almost all negative reviews were substantiated during our visit. Upon arrival, the hotel appears very worn from the exterior and prison-like due to... More
