The hotel is located in the center of Zadar and an easy walk to numerous restaurants, bars and shops. My room was spacious, modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. And the WiFi was solid. I can't comment on the food since I didn't eat in the onsite restaurant. Friendly staff.

This hotel is very small, so it is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are beautiful, very nicely done and comfortable beds. Free wifi a bonus! If you book a room with breakfast, you get a great table service breakfast, cooked to order. It is in a great location with all of old town Zadar in an easy comfortable walking distance.... More

Our helpful receptionist came and picked up our bags from the rental car which we dropped off in a free parking zone which he recommended a short walk away. Needless to say we felt immediately at ease and properly looked after. We knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Perfect sized double room with large bathroom: clean modern tv... More

Tucked away near the main square in Old Town, this 10 room hotel is an oasis from the bustle outside. The desk clerk Ivan met us outside the city walls and portered our bags the short distance to the hotel. The reception area is actually part of the gourmet restaurant connected to the hotel. Everything I our room was designed... More

There are very few hotels in the center of Zadar and it is such a lively city day and night. Staying there was a great choice. We had a double room on the highest floor which was large, modern and with a small patio. When we arrived there, I had mapped in our GPS the closest parking outside the city... More

We just hosted our wedding between the two wonderful hotels, Art Hotel Kalelarga and Hotel Bastion. While we had guests split between the two, we stayed at Kalelarga and were entirely charmed. The hotel is basically on a very lively square, but the rooms had soundproofing and light blocking curtains, which made it feel peaceful and quiet, even with all... More

Art as we call it was a pleasant surprise. After being told taxis can not drive in the city centre, we were a bit miffed as it was 1AM. We easily found the hotel and the evening desk help was very polite. Our room was large for Croatian standards, bathroom was updated and the morning breakfast was cooked to order.... More

We stayed for 4 nights in mid May 2015. It is just perfect for exploring the old town of Zadar. the hotel is less than a minute's walk from the main square. The hotel is in a restored old building, designed to a very high quality. The rooms are great, extremely well insulated so although we looked out on the... More

. Located inside the walls of Zadar, the modern Kalelarga brought us a wonderful experience. We received previously instructions about parking our car. Then, we called the hotel and 2 minutes later a gentle guy came to help us with our lugagge. Wifi working properly, breakfast offering all we need. Kalelarga made us feel extremely safe and comfortable. Do not... More

Even though we had to leave our car outside the old city walls, the hotel is a short walk and conveniently located for both modern and ancient sites. The two Ivans at the desk were very helpful and made numerous phone calls for us. Take their advice. Rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast in the downstairs cafe was bountiful,...
