We stayed at Villa Vanilla for 10 days. This is a beautiful apartementshotel in Zadar. The nice pool area is superb for relaxing. And the children love to take a bath there. It is a short way to super marked. The host is very nice, and she take good care of all her guests. She even arranged a pool party... More

We were only going to stay one night in Zadar, but this place and the city were too good for just one day. The price was amazing. I've spent 4 times as much on places that weren't half as good as Villa Vanilla. The pool area is beautiful and it's just a short walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. The... More

Well equipped rooms, nicely decorated and good pool with loungers and sun terrace. Shame then that the mattresses on the beds were the worst I've experienced for years, made worse by the excellently firm pillows Nice friendly lady and location was fine, 5 mins drive from city, near big supermarket for breakfast

We stayed here in early April at the start of the season. We had the place to ourselves and booked three nights in the apartment with its own pool. What a great find. We were picked up at the airport by the Villa owners who gave us a short orientation tour of the area before dropping us at the apartment.... More

This May we had already stayed at Villa Mandolina next door but had been joined by a friend so needed three bedrooms. The apartment on the top floor had a large balcony with pleasant views and was well kitted out. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very much at home. There is a... I visited Croatia last Summer with 3 of my friends and had a lovely time - Villa Vanilla was somewhere we decided to stay as it was within our budget and quite frankly we loved the name! The apartment we stayed in was a little bit dated and it would of been nice to have a kettle and microwave but... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of September and while it was out of town it was clean. We arrived by car and it took a while to find as there are no signs for Villa Vanilla (I reversed our rental car into a wall while trying to find it, so it wasn't a great start) but... More

As with the other accommodation in this area, staying here you are far from the old town and the beach, and there is nothing to do around the area. You either have to drive or pay 40HRK for a taxi each way to get anywhere. The apartment was nice and clean with efficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Pool... More

We stayed in Zadar because there was a flight route there, even though our goal was another part of Croatia. But we were so impressed with Zadar itself that we decided to stay on a few days more. The airport is tiny, and so a taxi had to be especially arranged, but, when it failed to materialise, the owners themselves... More

In Croatia there are many options for apartment/room rental in touristy areas. We think that Villa Vanilla was an apartment with a plus, since: it has a pool that guests can use; it provides (a good) breakfast for an extra charge; and service was excellent. Actually you are welcomed by the hosts themselves, a nice family that also lives there.... More
