This was our first time in Croatia and it really is a stunning place. Pansion Maria has a perfect location, it's only a 15 minute walk from both the Old town and the beach at Borik. We walked constantly and enjoyed the beautiful coastline everyday but in the car would be very convenient time wise too. The staff were lovely,... More

We were travelling the Croatian coast in a hire car and wanted somewhere easily accessible from the highway but still close to the old town for our short stopover in Zadar. I chose this hotel for largely due to the impressive reviews on trip advisor. Reviews did not disappoint! Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who was very... More

This is a small family run motel – excellent host, spotlessly clean room, with a very nice breakfast served by the host’s wife. It is about 20 minutes’ walk into the old town, and maybe 10 down to the shore. There isn’t much around the local area – a couple of small café bars only. Felt perfectly safe to walk... More

A reasonable little place with a friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast was good and free parking was a bonus. Must have had a blocked drain in the bathroom and the smell was pretty bad. Also quite a walk from the city centre, not ideal after dark.

Zoran, the owner, is a perfect host. As it was my girlfriend's birthday, he let a rose on the bed for her. She absolutely loved the detail. He helped us to plan our stay in Zadar. The breakfast was perfect to start the day and all the personnel very kind. Thank you again Zoran. :-)

I had a good stay here. The hosts are the best and it makes me want to give them 5 stars. However, there are one or two problems that wouldn't allow me to do it. First, I had a room in the front of the hotel. The hotel is on a street with traffic and they do not have double... More

You may think the location may put you off, but the short walk to the seashore (5-10 mins) is safe and pleasant, and to the Old Town (15-20mins) including the little boat taxi (5Ku), is relaxing. Whilst the Pansion Maria rooms may not be the biggest, they have everything you need, and whilst some guests may ignore the "requested quiet... More

I would definitely stay here again if I ever returned to Zadar, but I have no reason to return to Zadar, having spent 24 h there. Staying here for one night was perfect to visit and enjoy Zadar, because it was easy to drive (from out of town) to Pansion Maria (wide streets with little traffic), easy and pleasant to... More

We stayed for 1 week in this hotel and used it as our base in exploring Zadar. I can only say that all that all the good things that has been written about this hotel is, indeed, true. Zoran is the best host and hotel owner who will see to it that your stay in Zadar will be a memorable... More
