Myself and my husband visited Zadar this April. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed our stay at Villa Triana. The Villa is bright, well decorated, clean and tidy. Our room was spacious & clean, the only negative was we had to unplug the mini fridge to use a plug socket, we couldn't find a spare socket anywhere. The swimming... More

Completely without taste and atmosphere. House huge, concrete, no garden , and though just a few steps from the sea a pool not inviting at all. The worst thing: a heavy iron gate dividing the guests from the pedestrian path. People pass by and feel sorry for you behind the bars. There are lots of houses quite close offering a... More

Stayed at this great hotel on the amazing Croatian coast. My brother and wife were given a classic room which was a very nice room overlooking the ocean with an amazing deck area at the front. We shared a studio which was very well designed and had everything for a self contained stay. reception was polite and spoke good English. they... More

It was non stop problems with this villa from start to finish. We booked a studio which looked nice on the website. Upon arrived the reception woman showed us to a 'classic room'. We immediately told her we were due to stay in a studio. She advised us it was her second day and it was an error. We were... More

We had a great stay in Villa Triana. The room, the whole building, the pool and even the terrace were very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, they speak fluent English. Supermarket, busstop, atm, bakery are just around the corner. A few restaurants just a short walk away. But most important: the villa is right next to the... More

The website pictures must have been old. The bedspread and shams were dirty, pillows were old and smelly. Light fixtures without shades. The shower walls were molded. Ants were everywhere. The part-time staff was not helpful or knowledgeable. We were so glad to leave.

Hotel is right next to the beach and many restaurants. Diklo beaches are very near. Hotel itself is a big villa, that has different kinds of rooms. Beds are bad and the air conditioning super loud. The owners have a dog that barks every single morning waking you up.

Positives: nice room/suite (a bit small), nice balcony overlooking the sea, clean room, bus stop right outside the building (10 kuna pr pers), supermarket 3 houses down the road (opens early and we bought nice and cheap breakfast there) Negatives: further from town than we expected (45 min walk), the house was being worked on and the noise was right... As the title suggests we were pleasantly surprised by the standards of the accommodation we were offered. Airport Transfer: The apartment arranged a driver to collect us from the airport for an additional 20Euro. All ran smoothly and on time. Much easier than hustling for a taxi Location: The apartment is quite a distance from the old town but with... More
