I spent two nights in the Pula Art Hostel. And it was great ! The two people running it were exceptionally helpful, the premises look nice and the balcony is a practical place to meet some new people. I would definitely recommend this hostel for whoever would like to spend a few nights in Pula

I spent three nights at Pula Art Hostel this summer together with one traveling companion and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's located only a short walk away from the centre (you essentially just walk 10 minutes straight down a main road, seems like a safe area and never felt dangerous to be walking around there at night) and... I was rudely asked to leave the hostel once I'd checked out because they were 'busy' (they weren't, especially for August). All I was doing was sitting outside and using their wifi to book a hostel for the following night. I had some time to kill before leaving Pula. Hostels usually allow you to stay the next day and even... More

after traveling for close to four years nonstop and staying at nearly 1000 hostels around the world, this is the first time i found neccessary to log on a site and leave a review because this was one of the most unpleasant stays due to the staffs condescending and aggressive way in treating guests and the condition of the bottom... The hostel was really colourful and we met some great people there. The way the hostel is set up, it encourages travellers to talk to each other, which was great. The hostel was clean and the couple who own it were very nice. They have bikes they let your rent for 5euros a day and other things they let you... More

This is a quirky place with very helpful owners. They are a great source of local information. Pula is a beautiful town with a wonderful mix of old streets. Prices vary for drinks etc so look at the price lists before going in bars or cafes.

Stayed for 4 nights in total. had originally planned for 2 nights but decided on longer so stayed in 2 different dorm rooms. Both good, clean and have air con (essential in the summer). Family run by really friendly couple with their little boy. They recommended some excellent places to visit around Pula, which we would not have gone to... More

On arrival we were greeted in a very aggressive manor with demands for additional payments, despite the fact that we had far exceeded the cancellation policy. This was very unpleasant. The hostel was dirty and our 'room' was in fact a corridor between the two other dormitories. It was just awful and we left as soon as we could. It... More

We stayed in Pula Art Hostel in July 2011 for a week. This was one of our last stops where we just wanted to relax. We were greeted by the hostel owners who gave us local information and maps which was fantastic. However when we came to paying they tried to overcharge us by quite a large amount saying we... More
