Hotel staff were great, they got friendlier as the week went on. Food was ok not gourmet but if you want 5 star then you have to pay for it,managed to eat there everyday plenty of choice. The only criticism I have is the room cleaners weren't able to make beds very well.

me, my partner and our 18 month old stayed here for 4 nights last week. the staff were really nice, very helpful, and were especially good with our baby. the room was clean and spacious, we had a little balcony area which was overlooked but surrounded by fig, pomegranate and orange trees, which was nice. breakfast was good, quite standard,... very average and basic hotel with no charm. location is quite convenient, walking distance to lapad area and beach and not very far from old town. rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious, and those who have a balcony are better, but the beds aren't comfortable at all and the AC doesn't work well, either you're freezing or it's very hot.... We were a big group of 18, after coming from some bad hotels in split and plitvice..we were pretty happy with this hotel. The rooms are very big. The bathrooms were clean also. The only disadvantage is that's it's far from old town walking. You can take a bus right outside the hotel which will get you to old town... More

I'm surprised to see good reviews of this hotel. We've been on a serie of bad experiences in only 3 days of stay. First the location. Bad. The size of the room is good but you really have to be thin to fit in the shower. With all the beautiful views in the city, the hotel windows take you nowhere.... More

For the price we paid I expected a little more. The room was very spacious but everything was quite worn out. The blankets on the beds were especially disgusting, resulted on some sort of flea bites. When I mentioned this to the staff at the reception, they just told me to ask from the maid. Could not reach one to... More

The rooms are clean and spacious but don't have a mini-bar or fridge where you can chill things. There's a direct lift/elevator to the (free) garage and the bus service (5 minutes' walk to the bus stop) is frequent and the best way to get to the old town (cost 12 kunas if you by a ticket in advance or... A perfectly decent 3 star hotel. Good location in Lapad, close to bus stops to the Old Town. Room was huge with a balcony, although be warned that a 'double' bed is just 2 singles pushed together. Service at reception was adequate but not exactly friendly.

Very good for a 3star hotel, not amazing but nothing at all wrong with it. The hotel is about a 10min walk from lapad beaches, Gruz harbour and 2mins from a regular bus to the old town. The location was great for us, gets you away from the crazy busy old town but still close enough, we actually walked in... More

Hotel Ivka is but a 10 minute bus ride from Old Town Dubrovnik, away from the crowds, noise and circus atmosphere, in a leafy quarter called Lapad. The hotel staff are very friendly and English-speaking. The modern room have decent bathrooms, are reasonably sized with standard amenities. Many include balconies with chaise lounges and some even have sea views. The... More
