We spent 7 nights at this marvellous hotel in early July. the weather was exceptionally humid so the air conditioning (throughout the hotel and very effective) was essential to a comfortable stay. All of the staff were courteous and helpful and when we discovered that the remote on the television was faulty a man was on the doorstep in less... more

My Fiance and I stayed at the Villa Argentina for 1 week at the beginining of June. The hotel itself is beautiful... it is especially great for those that love sunbathing and swimming. The hotel has two pools, an outdoor and indoor pool, both of which are great. A holiday to me is all about the pool and I have... more

Now don't get me wrong... it is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location and very accessible for the city. It has lovely terraced gardens and sun deck. Most (more later) of the staff are helpful and very pleasant. Some great fun. The food is excellent and the rooms a good standard, if on-economy small. If you are on a... more

The Victoria restaurant was absolutely amazing. We spent the last night of our honeymoon here. The hotel had reserved us the best table, with direct views to the old town for the most beautiful sunset. Service was excellent without being overly formal. Food came with silver domes over it to be revealed on cue - I felt like I was... more

During June we stayed four nights in the Villa Argentina. We arranged for the hotel’s limo transfer (42 Euro) from the airport, which we highly recommend as the airport is a good distance (approximately half an hour drive) from the hotel/town. Our accommodations included a standard room with no view, which was all that was available when we booked months... more

This a nice enough hotel, which if it was 3 stars would be adequate. After picking it for the added luxuries we were constantly dissapointed by the ambivalent staff and often surly attitudes. Food is basic and wine massively overpriced. Bath leaked, concierge failed to make bookings as requested and just recommended the hotel restaurant! more

The foyer of the hotel is breath taking and has a definite wow factor with floor to ceiling views of the sea, (complete with great view of anisland) from reception. The room also couldnt be faulted (although the first room we were offered had a terrible view of a wall) and the Victoria Restaurant and bar located next door to... more

The Hotel is great in general, but we have stayed in a "Superior Room with SEA VIEW and BALCONY" in Villa Argentina, and there was not much of a Balcony, I must say. People should be careful of what to expect when paying extra for the Sea View and Balcony. The Sea View+Balcony rooms in Villa Argentina that have a... more

This is a fantastic hotel. The setting must be the best of any in Dubrovnik. The pool area sits beside the sea overlooking the old town of Dubrovnik, Lokrum Island and the headlands before Cavtat. It's a very scenic and peaceful setting. The yachts and cruisers stop in the bay outside providing passing entertainment and beautiful lighting at night time.... more

The hotel was located a short 5-10 minute walk from the old town and had great views of Lokrum Island and the old town. The hotel had on-site restaurants and a small cafe/bar. The room we had was quite large and had a balcony and seaview. The staff were helpful and polite and any questions we had were promptly answered.... more
