We loved our stay at this lovely former mansion. The rooms are pleasant, the grounds are spacious and inviting, the staff - and particularly Annamaria - are so very knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is ideal for neighborhood restaurants and easy access to the historic city. We had a very pleasant 2 night stay at Hotel Zagreb. The rooms are basic and comfortable. We liked that it is a smaller hotel with lovely grounds and close to the beach, some good restaurants (delicious gelato right outside the entrance!) and a bus stop that took us to the walled city in 10 minutes. The staff is friendly... More

Hotel Zagreb is a great hotel to choose in Dubrovnik. I stayed there 3 nights in June. The staff are very personable, courteous and helpful. One of them solved a tablet computer problem for me. The full breakfast included is wonderful and there are beautiful outside tables. Tennis courts are next door. A wonderful beach is 1 km away. There... More

This hotel, outside the walled city, and in the "hotel" neighborhood near Lapan, is a wonderful gem. It is old fashioned, though the rooms have all the amenities, small and informal. Beware, there is no lift, however, there is "Mr. Danko". Mr. Danko is a legend, a 63 yr. old man, but don't let his age fool you. He will... More

Had a great holiday at Hotel Zagreb. Staff were so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was pleasant. The hotel has a very efficient but calm relaxing atmosphere which is just what you want on holiday. Everywhere is spotless and the gardens are immaculate with a heady perfume of jasmine. Hotel is ideal for the sea,... More

What a surprise we had! The hotel is stunning - we noticed lots of people walking past and taking pictures of it. The gardens are also lovely. Our room was basic but as we were out exploring it was all we needed and it was clean. The staff were lovely and the location was fantastic - right near the sea... More

Perfect location for a stay in Dubrovnik. The staff are charming and nothing is too much trouble for them. In bustling area but the rooms are quiet. You can take the bus to the Old City just round the corner. Lots of good restaurants nearby and a short walk to the sea. Lovely area.

The hotel is just off main street on a pedestrian only tree lined street. The room was a nice size with a very nice bath. We had a balcony(AKA outdoor ballroom) that was at least 10 meters square that had seating for 25 people. It was apparently the only room with this feature. There is a very nice garden sitting... This is a quaint old fashioned pretty hotel some 400 meters from the sea, with pleasant gardens and comfortable sun beds. It doesn't have a lift but is only four stores high, and no pool. The staff are all extremely pleasant and courteous and the breakfast was appetizing with plenty of fresh fruit and good quality tea and coffee. The... More
