It's not often you find a hotel that is perfect in every aspect. Hotel Zagreb ticked all the boxes for us. We're always interested in the dynamics of any business and it's not often you find such a perfect working relationship between management and staff as they have at H.Z. What a pleasant place to stay. Wonderful restaurant, great breakfast... More

The hotel is in a beautiful old building with real character, the rooms could benefit from an update but are clean and tidy. The real high point of this hotel is the staff, friendly and polite, they go out of their way to help you. The hotel is situated in the Lupad area which is only a short bus ride... More

This hotel looks stunning from the outside - it offers a daily special menu of three courses for 120,00 Kuna which is around £21.00. We decided to eat here even though it wasn't where we were staying - you can just walk in without booking. The service was terribly slow, we waited an hour for our starters to arrive. It... More

This hotel is well located just outside the centre of Dubrovnik. The bus stop to the Old City is about 100 yards away and the trip is not long say 10 minutes but 20 minutes on the way back as the route is circular. On the negative side there are no lifts and the showers are small (fat people should... More

Service quality, architecture, food, everything was perfect - nice and cosy, not exxagerated. The hotel is ranked as mid-range, but for that money you definitely get much more than that. The hotel is located near nice pedestrians street wish small pizzerias and cafe's, beach is on a walking distance, to the city centre you get easily with bus (bus stop... More

We were so lucky to find this hotel, it's in a great location with lots of eating and drinking places nearby. A short bus ride (number 6) into the Old Town, or a 30-40 minute walk. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful, in particular Danco and Annamarija... More

A good hotel located on pedestrian street with cafes and restaurants not far from the sea (not really a beach as it is narrow and rocky). There is a bus stop close by for frequent and quick access to the Old Town. The hotel is clean, staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. Rained all the... More

We throughly enjoyed our time in Zagreb, and this hotel was hard to beat. Right in the centre of the action, it was a short walk to all of Zagreb's attractions. The rooms were large and well appointed, and the staff always helpful. We had a large van, as 6 of us were travelling together. Parking was available in a... More

Good breakfast - fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, plus other minor items. Also - fruit juices, and fruit salad, plus selection of good UK tea and coffee. Dinner at hotel was pretty good with the exception of the Seafood Rizotto and the Lasagne. I recommend that the hotel use photographs of the food to give clear details to customers.... More

Hotel Zagreb was probably one of the best choices we made in our honeymoon. After about 10 days of traveling thru Turkey and Croatia, we wanted to relax a bit, while still being able to sightsee. Hotel Zagreb did not disappoint. Check in time: We arrived a few hours earlier than check-in time and were excited to find out our... More
