My husband and I spent our last night in Dubrovnik at the Hotel Zagreb for a treat as it looked so lovely from the outside. However, we were quite disappointed as the staff were really quite rude - not at all welcoming, and the breakfast was rubbish. The room was quite basic and really did not reflect the quality of... more

Hotel Zagreb is nicely located in Lapad, a 10 minute bus ride from the Old City. A 5 minute walk past many restaurants puts you on a rock beach. The hotel has been recently redone, and the room decor shows this. Our room was of decent size by European standards. However, the shower was tiny. It was about 2 feet... more

Building is great (old venitian style villa), in the green scenery of Lapad quarter, and if you follow the pedestrians alley in front of the hotel, you'll find the beach. Room was nice, with space, clean. Breakfast was good, on the terrace. Only drawback: the carpark is small and quickly full. But at least you can park in the area... more

Old mansion converted to a hotel on walking street. An 8 kro bus ride to the old town. Fully controllable air conditioning, safe, no ground floor rooms and no elevators. No Kleenex or washcloths, no CNN or BBC. Internet access using their lobby computers $3 for 30 minutes but there are useable wi-fi signals from the south. We had Room... more

I stayed in this hotel together with my parents for a week. There were 3 of us and we were given a room which consisted of 2 rooms, with double bed in each, a balcony and and bathroom. It feels that the hotel was recently reinnovated, the rooms were clean and nice inside, each of 2 rooms had own air... more

We walked in off the street to Hotel Zagreb to stay a night, as we hadn't anything booked. It stands out from the other hotels in that street in Lapad as it is older and looks more interesting. It was smaller than expected inside, and our room was a pretty good size. Its not really high quality but it is... more

The hotel was every bit as pretty as the website pictures situated on a beautiful and popular promenade which lead dierctly down to the beach. We finished our trip around Croatia here and we did not regret it. The scenery around the hotel and from the beach was idyllic to say the least and for a pair of lovers like... more

Traveling alone to Dubrovnik, I stayed at the Hotel Zagreb for two weeks. Not quite sure what to expect, this being my first trip to both Croatia and Central Europe, I was delighted. The hotel itself is a delicious little specimen tucked into a suburb of sorts, outside of the old walled city. Ideally situated near a market, small shopping... more

Very nice hotel on quiet walking street a short distance to the beach and a wonderful scenic small inlet. This hotel is about 2 miles from the old city, but the local bus stops 200 feet from the hotel and will take you to the old city at a very reasonable price. The hotel is very clean, the rooms kept... more

Hotel Zagreb is located in an old (but redecorated) villa near a small beach in Dubrovnik. We had room 17 (first floor, with balcony) and had a great stay in this hotel. The staff is friendly, the room spacious and clean (nice to have airco) and breakfast is good. The best part is however the location. It is near to... more
