the location was great for us - a 15 min walk down to Lapad Bay, or a 15 bus ride into Dubrovnik old town (bus' stop directly outside the hotel and run every 25 mins). the hotel has pools and 2 access points from the rock beach into the very clear sea. not very child friendly but that suited us! more

We stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace for one week at the begining of June 09. This was all that a 5* hotel should be with the possible exception of the food. That said there are few places where you can experience 5* food in Dubrovnik, not even the Nautica where we paid £265 for two people. The hotel reception staff... more

Just back from a week at the Dubrovnik Palace. We questioned whether we could justify the price (£150 per night - double room) but so glad we did. It made our holiday and would return there in an instant. Views are breathtaking, facilities excellent - swimming pools fantastic (my favourite the indoor pool in spa area, often had it to ourselves... more

This is a great hotel offering a great service. We are a family of 3 so we reserved one of their junior suite for 10 days . The room was very spacious and very well divided. The decor is modern and the shower area was great. All staff were extremelly friendly and helpful. The pool also exceeded our expectations. The... more

This is not a 5* hotel. To call it a tired 4* would be generous. Some rooms have been refurbished but some (like mine) are possibly 15 years old. Old bathroom tiling with grouting looking terrible. Vanity probably stone but painted over with some sort of epoxy. Shower from wall at side of bath soaks bathroom. Hot water takes an... more

We spent a week in the Palace hotel early May. The scenary is breathtaking and many of the bars, pools and spa areas have a panoramic view of the sea and islands ..beautiful at sunset. the hotel was quite but a conference added to the atmosphere which also made for a good night in the nightclub downstairs. If you fancy... more

I visited Dubrovnik with my wife and two kids during busy summer season. We stayed at a Palace Hotel and I was very much impressed with the service, food, and the beautiful view from our rooms. Being from USA I would rate this Hotel a 4-1/2 star. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who's visiting Dubrovnik. Puno Hvala,... more

I stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace for 5 nights in November whilst attending a conference located at the hotel. Had a brilliant stay - the hotel was gorgeous. My room was very comfortable and luxurious with a beautiful view from the balcony. I used the pool and spa facilities which were also fantastic. My luggage was separated from me en... more

My wife and I stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace for 6 nights in October 2008. We booked through Airmiles.co.uk and paid around £900 for the 6 nights. We'd booked a superior double room but on check-in we were given a free upgrade to a junior suite, potentially because there were very few guests in the hotel at the time. The... more
