We stayed at Hotel Lapad for one week in early August. We booked directly with the hotel and got one free dinner at the hotel's buffet style restaurant which was fantastic - lots of choice, fresh food brought out regularly, very attentive staff and the dining room was lovely and clean. We had planned lots of sight seeing - exploring... More

The facilities are quite nice, I can't say a single negative. The room was a good size for EU standards and was nicely modernized. The shared amenities were equally well kept. The breakfast had a nice variety and was a higher quality than typical. Some have commented on pool hours and it is true, all pool chairs are removed around... More

We chose this hotel as a part of a Thompsons "Couples" package. The joys of a child free holiday are best understood by seasoned parents! The hotel is charming and superbly converted to 4* quality ( not the claimed 5) The set meals were, on the whole, of good quality and offered a varied diet. It was a pity that... More

I was really looking forward to this stay as I had never been to Dubrovnik. I was visiting for business but of course had time to see the city sights. One of the reasons I was drawn to Hotel Lapad was the very reasonable deal they offered for a single occupant room. So this combined with the location on the... More

Clean luxurious hotel overlooking the harbour where you can see which cruise ships have arrived for the day. Dubrovnik limit the number of ships so that congestion in the old town doesn't get too severe. The no. 6 bus runs from outside the hotel to the old town for 150 kuna (about £1.50).

Fabulous location and an easy walk (mainly uphill, but not too hard) into the old city. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We had a superior suite for 3 adults. Sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. We were lucky to have a gorgeous view of the harbour and mountains. Plenty of choice for breakfast which kept us full until evening. Would... More

Stayed here during October half term. The season was coming to a close. The hotel is situated on the leafy and quiet Lapad peninsula overlooking the harbour where luxury ocean liners moor up for a day or so.It is a 30- 4- minute walk into the old city if you are feeling enrgetic, otherwise buses frequently pass outside the hotel.... Travelled here for 6 nights in October. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I was very happy with this hotel. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delicious with a superb range of food offered. Room was lovely, very clean and the balcony was fabulous (if small). There is a very relaxed, chilled... More

Cheap rates attracted me to this gorgeous luxury stay. To be fair, I did fell like I had to keep shushing my little girl int he pool, but I don't think anyone else was bothered, just the atmosphere was so lovely and chilled, it seemed irreverent to get too excited! A shortage of sunbeds kept us in the pool, and... More
