This is the place to relax... Having paid around £350 for the week inclusive my hopes were not high, but wow. It's a proper Island getaway and there's pretty much only one hotel on the Island so there's absolute tranquility! We came here as 2 couples for escape and that's exactly what we got. I'd go back here any day.... More

I stayed with my partner at the kalamota island resort (Villas Kolocep when we stayed) for one week last august. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, we found it tricky to find a holiday that suited our needs during peak school holidays as we wanted something with character and where we could choose to explore the surrounding areas. Situated on... More

I travelled here in October 2013 on the penultimate week of the season. I had done tones of research on the hotel before arriving so I knew that is had a remote location and there were limited boats to the mainland at rather inconvenient times. I knew there was chargeable wifi and the rooms had small balconies. I knew that... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in the last 2 weeks of September. Glad we did it then because the prices have increased massively in 2014 due to a refurb & the fact it's going from half board to all inclusive. I don't think we would have got the value from it if we'd gone all inclusive because... More

We visited this location for two weeks in July/August 2013. Travelled with my wife and a teenager. We had one of the lower villas and as such had a shorter climb to the room at the end of the day. The hotel is lovely as previously described. The bay is beautiful and the lack of cars was fantastic. We walked... More

Me and my girlfriend spent a lovely week on Kolacep & travelled some of the local Islands. The scenery was beautiful with lots to do including Kayaking, walking, ferries to Dubrovnic & Lopu. The hotel was quite expensive for what you get but the location is fantastic for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The... More

Magnificent location with some beautiful walks all over the island. Food was buffet style and poor in quality the first week but improved during the second week- the same with the level of service. Surprised that even though we were not there at the end of the season, it appeared to be closing around us. The outside bar was only... More

This year I visited, with my sister, mother and father, the island of Kolocep. In villa 8 (the very top one) it was tiring to go back and forwards to and from the room to where ever, however somehow we managed. After a few days we started to get used to the heat and mosquitoes, which were a real nighmare!,... More

Kolocep Island is a beautiful location. Very peaceful and fantastic views everywhere you look. We were lucky with the weather - late October and still nice and warm with only one rainy day, and that cleared up half way through. However, if it had rained each day I think we may well have struggled with things to do as the... More

This is a beautiful island. If your idea of a good time is to swim in crystal clear sea, explore the shady footpaths and have a good nights sleep, this is the place for you. The hotel is not quiet as it's website describes it the fire pit was never lit and looked like it never had been used which was... More
