Excellent location on the Adriatic coast. Rooms are huge, with good views. They should be refurbished because the deco is spartan. Access to the historical sights is made easy by a direct bus from the hotel, which takes you there in 10 minutes flat. Breakfast is excellent. You can have it on a huge veranda overlooking the gorgeous Adriatic coast.... more

Perfect hotel!! About 25 minutes from the airport if you arrive by plane and will cost around 40 - 50 dollars (250 kunas) to get there but was very happy with everything at this hotel. Definitely staying here again if we go back. The staff was very friendly and spoke good english and took care of EVERYTHING we asked! No... more

This hotel was really lovely and roomy. We had a really spacious sea view room with a lovely balcony. It's just a ten minute bus ride into the Old Town and the buses are very regular. The breakfast everyday was buffet style and plenty, however, we didn't like the look of the buffet food for dinner so always ate in... more

LOCATION: Excellent! Not walking distance to the old town, but a 17 minute walk to the new town which has a beach, at least 10 restaurants, and coffee shops. There is a bus station right out the front door of the hotel where a bus will take you to the old town for a few dollars each way. The bus... more

We spent just over a week at the hotel and found it comfortable, clean, and quiet. The rooms were bright and airy, all with balconies overlooking the sea. There was easy access to the hotel beach where loungers and umbrellas were always available. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There's a great indoor spa with pool, whirlpool and saunas... more

We just spent a week here, and loved every minute. I was at this hotel in 1985. Today it's still similar, but has been renovated, so very modern and clean. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Plenty of space for all your stuff. Balcony has two chairs and table, plus a little drying rack for wet swimsuits or whatever. What... more

This hotel is built into the mountain, along the Adriatic Sea, so that EVERY room has a large balcony on the Sea. The elevator is actually a funicular going down the side of the mountain to each floor. The rooms were very large and clean, the restaurants were very good and the drinks strong. more

My wife and i stayed in the President hotel over Easter. We booked with last minute.com and got a good rate for half board. The hotel is beautiful with great views. The room was large with a cream leather sofa and a large balcony. The food was excellant, the best we ever had at any hotel. The evening meal was... more

Stayed at Hotel first week October 2006. We travelled by Eirjet from Dublin. Booked a superior room and half board and we were not disappointed. The Hotel was excellent and we could not find any faults with it. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. The Restaurant was five star, the range of meals was excellent and the fact... more
