As other reviews indicate, the location is close by the passenger ferry terminal (Gruz). With proper directions it's just a 10 minute walk to the property. A map will be handy as you risk walking past the laneway that leads to the property. The accommodation was very clean with a good sized double room and a quite new en-suite bathroom.... More

My friend and I were leaving from Gruz harbor for a bike and boat trip. We flew into Dubrovnik and needed accommodations for just the night before we were to depart but didn't want to stay in an expensive hotel. I found this guesthouse on OrangeSmile.com. We wanted to be able to walk to the harbor and this was just... More

Nothing I say will do this guesthouse justice. The room itself was clean and quiet, but what sets this property apart is it's hostess. Mladenka met us late at night, gave us homemade treats and brandy every time she saw us and all the tips and tricks for local transport. We had to extend our stay a few nights. Croatian... More

Arriving in Dubrovnik late one Sunday night to depart by catamaran early on the Tuesday, we were looking for somewhere clean, comfortable and convenient to both the old city and the port and this accommodation was just the job. Pros: Friendly owner (who spoke some English) who welcomed us with juice and pretzels. Location 100m down steps takes you to... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. Mladenka was so kind, always offering food and wanting me to relax on the terrace. She was so friendly and gave plenty of brochures upon arrival, very helpful. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. It is a great location, about 10 minute walk to the bus station and 20 minutes to town. There... More

Though slightly tricky to find, the guesthouse is behind the Tommy Supermarket near Gruz Port. It is a 5-10 minutes walk from the port so is ideally placed for getting to/from the ferries to the islands. In the other direction the old town of Dubrovnik is 20-30 minute walk though buses into town are close by. Our room was basic,... More

Best place I stayed at in croatia, Mladenka is incredibly friendly and offered us home made liquer and home grown vegetables. A bit from the old town, but buses departs nearby. Supermarkets and other shops nearby.

A little bit difficult to find for the first time - no guesthouse sign outside - but the location was excellent, quite near the busstation and the busstop, with several buses going to the old town of Dubrovnik. Also, you didn't need to clime up and down hundreds of steps, as in many places around Dubrovnik. The hostess was extremely... More
