I stayed 5 nights at this villa, one night was returned back from other city. Villa is closed bus station on foot around 10 minutes but go to old town approx. 30 minutes, many trams passing villa to old town so quite convenient. Villa room is clean & comfortable, a little noisy but still OK. rooms are above a restaurant, staff... More

The first room I was given was directly adjacent to a very noisy night club. Asked to shift and the noise was less intrusive but still way too loud to get a good night's sleep. The owner told me his best room was not able to be let out because of the noise problem. Not too far to walk from... More

We just left Dubrovnik this morning and can't stop talkin about what a great stay we had at Villa Amfora. We stayed 4 nights. It was our first trip to Croatia and we wanted to save money and stay outside the old city. Not only did we save money (that we easily spent at the spa and on the amazing... More

We stayed only two days in Dubrovnik and we want to come back for more relaxation and visiting. Villa Amfora is a wonderful place to stay: the rooms and the bathrooms are small but very clean, the towels and bedsheets were changed everyday, the WiFi was free and very good and the parking was free.

This accomodation is in Gruz. Exit the main bus station, cross the road. Facing away from the sea, go right and walk for about 10 minutes. The rooms are above the Villa Amfora Restaurant. When we arrived there was no-one manning the reception desk. We approached 3 people before we could check in. Eventually we were shown to our room... More

I have just spent 14 nights at the Villa Amfora, which is along time to spend at one location in Dubrovnik. I was a single traveller, staying in Room 9. The room was perfect for a single guy; aircon worked as it should, plenty of sockets and lights and a TV which I think showed 4 channels. The bathroom is... More

They sell service rather than modern big rooms! We stayed there for 3 nights. The room they offered us had a bad toilet smell and we asked for a change. They did it without hesitation and made our stay a pleasant one. The room is not very big but good enough to have TV and a fridge. It has an... More

Here are the good things: - Location: A very short 5-10 minute walk from the bus station and very easy to find. - Neighbourhood: Not too noisy even though it's on the main road. A restaurant and bar is attached to the hotel so you can always eat there. Supermarket and bus stop (to Old Town) is nearby. Here are... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately I have been working with booking.com about an issue which found very annoying. You see, we do not market our selves anywhere as a hotel but the layout of their internet site is standardized for hotels. It is easy to mistake a humble private accommodation house with a hotel which by the... More

Handily positioned for marina and bus station with the old town easily accessible by bus. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room had a small fridge and airconditioning and was generally perfectly comfortable. Very handy too for the little market and big supermarket nearby. Despite the road being noisy and the neighbouring bar (and occasionally private yachts) playin intrusive... More

Stayed 4 nights at €44 per night in a single room with air con, TV, fridge and attached bathroom. Room on the smaller side but suitable for single occupancy and room to spread out etc. Relaxed environment with kettle / jug downstairs to make hot drinks and verandah to catch a breeze. Restaurant attached but didn't try. Wifi worked perfectly... More
