We stayed at Villa Matejuska for 3 nights. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room we had was lovely, with a small living area, I don't think the photos on their website do it justice. It was clean, with A/C and even though we didn't order breakfast, there was some juice, milk, fuit & yoghurt in the fridge.... More

Very clean, well equiped hotel. It was extremely comfortable place to stay. Staff were friendly but quite. It is situated at the end of the Riva but is centrally located to all the main sites. The building itself was beautiful and in excellant condition. The room had a contintental style breakfast which suited me as I had to be up... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The location was perfect, at the end of the main seaside boulevard. It was very clena and the staff was just great. The building is also beautiful. The only negative thing I can say was the air conditioning. It was there, but at least in our room it was not in the... More

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and charming inn, in a rooftop room all of wood, with a peaked roof, and balcony area outside with table and chairs, though the balcony was not exclusive to us. The inn is around the corner from a laundrette and a small supermarket, as well as several restaurants, one of them owned by... More

Nice Villa very close to old town 5 min walk, but far enough so you don't hear any noises at night. Room was fine and the staff was more than helpful. The owner and staff are very nice people. Recommended by Rick Steves. At first, hard to find and parking was almost impossible. We loved Split. We did a walking... More

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Matejuska in Split, the staff was so kind and helpful. It’s situated in a quiet small street but close to the Riva and the old City in Split. I arrived to Split by bus and since I pack light, it wasn’t a problem for me to walk trough the Riva to get to... More

For me and my husband it was the most beautiful experience we have ever had on a trip... Villa Matejuska is nothing luxury or de luxe, but it is so nice, lovely and charming place. Villa is renovated old stone house, with original walls and old old wood... It tells own story... I loved the location cause on one hand... More

Villa Matejuska was difficult to find but when we finally arrived, the staff couldn't have been nicer. They had warned us to arrive by 9PM so we had no problem. The location is ideal for visiting Split and there was an excellent restaurant only a block away. The accommodations were nice, not luxurious, but certainly standard for a B&B. Breakfast... More

Stayed 3 nights, very quiet location but minutes from promenade and all areas of the city. Room was very clean, good size with kitchen/diner area, cooker etc. although bathroom somewhat small and hot water ran out fairly quickly with only 2 of us showering. Only drawback, rain dropping on awning outside noisy tho it did rain quite heavily one day!... More

After booking to stay at Villa Matejuska for one week over Easter we ended up checking out after only 3 nights, we simply couldnt bear to stay any longer! We stayed in apartment 2 - a small and very dingy room which was located right beside the reception desk. The location of our room meant we had little or no... More
