We stayed in Split, Hotel Matejuska only one night. The daughter of the owner welcomed us and she was really very friendly and gave us great tips about where to go, where to eat, the ferry hours etc. She told us her cell was on all night and we could call if we had any trouble!.. The accommodation itself is relatively expensive although it was tidy and well presented - the building has been very sympathetically renovated. We paid for an apartment with 2 bedrooms as I was travelling with a friend. We got a 1 bed apartment with a sofa bed which was fine - but I had to make up the second bed myself.... more
