Hotel does not meet expectations as advertised on web site. Reserved two deluxe rooms at least 2 months in advance. Upon our arrival, the deluxe room was not available. Stayed our first night in a noisy room filled with smoke aroma. Staff was very apologetic, but did not make up for horrible room. Stayed for 3 more nights. Due to... More

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It was a little hard to find because it's tucked into the Old Town (which is a maze) but a nice shop owner helped us out. We parked in the pay lot right next to Old Town to get our bags inside and then once we checked in, the front desk person... More

Split is stunning! We walked through the centre and found the hotel. From the outside it looks like a hostel. My heart sank a little, I hadn't booked the room and didn't check the hotel out in advance. I was not optimistic. Tiny, almost non existent reception desk didn't set the scene well. Got to my room was which was... More

I cannot believe the Jupiter heritage hotel labels itself "luxury" hotel. We usually stay in budget or mid-range places but this time we wanted something special for our 2 last nights in Croatia. What a mistake ! Let's start with the positive side : located right in Diocletian Palace, modern furniture, nice wall of stones in the room. On the... More

Dear Loreley 75, We very much appreciate your review and regret that our hotel did not fulfill your expectations. I am happy to see that You did like location and hotel's interior, but I am very sad to read the rest. Excellent hotel in old part of town in Split - in Diocletian palace, only few meters from St. Duje church. Location is perfect but hotel lack close up free parking so it is wonderful for travelers who came with plane or bus. Staff was good, breakfast nice, rooms clean.

We took the late flight from Zagreb to Split and arrived at the city center around 23:00, which was not a problem, because some locals helped us to find the hotel in the narrow alleys of the Diocletian's Palace. Despite our late arrival, they were waiting for us at the hotel. Instead of a double bed, we got two single... More

The hotel cant be reached by taxi as its located within the walls but that's just a small downside. We called the hotel upon arrival and they sent someone down to pick us up (5 mins away). Hotel was clean and well appointed - lady receptionist was very helpful and gd recommendations with restaurants. Overall, very gd hotel and not... More

It was my first time in Split and Croatia as well. I chose this hotel because of its location and I think I couldn't do better thing! Staff is exceptional, they were really helpful especially when I was lost about three times :) To be honest, Diocletian's palace looks like a maze. Rooms were very clean, comfy and cozy. I... More
