Great quirky hotel embedded within the roman ruins in the heart of the city. This is a great location, you are literally in thousand year old ruins, with great restaurants and night life on your doorstep, as well as easy access to island trips etc. Concierge helped us with trips to Hvar, Krka, Plitvice, good tips and hints. Hotel restaurant... More

A small, ordinary hotel with a very good location in the old city of Split. Just a few minutes by foot from the ferry and the harbour, but difficult to find. Not many locals had heard about the hotel, and you really had to find one living inside the old wall to get the direction to the hotel. We had... More

Room had alcove which included wall of Diocletian palace. Location is best and staff most helpful. Arrived on overnight ferry from Italy staff provided early check in. After not so good plumbing in Italy shower was best. Tasteful decor and fit out. DPeserves its high ranking as place to stay. Breakfast also good option.

Beautiful small hotel in the heart of the old city. Staff were tremendously helpful - meeting my driver to help with bags, and even printing some forms I needed for a business function. Breakfast was made to order and coffee was delicious. The room had a flat screen TV, plenty of storage for my things, and the Bathroom was as... More

This hotel is in a great location right inside the Diocletian Palace at the Silver Gate so for convenience, view and for sightseeing it is great. We had a room facing the plaza and one wall was part of the ramparts, which is special. The corner shower, part of a very small bathroom, proved too small for my husband -... More

This choice was supposed to be a treat for our last night in Croatia and having stayed in four other places during our stay, all of which were much cheaper and infinitely better, I cannot put across how disappointing this hotel is. Having read reviews before booking we requested particular rooms but were given the tiny box with the air... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, with beautiful furniture and fittings, and the bonus of being in the midst of the ruins of a Roman palace. The staff were really pleasant and helpful - not only getting our car and parking it for us, but bringing it back the next morning and giving advice to help us... More

Who stays in a Roman Palace, gets great food and service with a few steps to wonderful restaurants and wine bars. That is Hotel Peristil. They take care of the car and bring it back when you need it, take care of your bags and provide an oasis from the tourist hoards a few yards away.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights which was inside the wall outside the silver gate. We were in room 304 which had spectacular views, felt spacious and quaint. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful with meeting us away from the hotel at our arrival location. Breakfast was good. Best of what we have experienced on... More

We stayed a couple of nights here and had a room on the top floor overlooking the Peristil and the cathederal. The hotel is built into the wall of Diocletians Palace being pretty much part of the Silver Gate and as such is an ideal base for exploring the old town of Split which is fabulous. The rooms are reasonably... More
