We stayed here with a small group tour for two nights in Split. The hotel is in a great location and had just been modernised so everything functioned very well (except the lift which is still being installed). The staff were extremely helpful, particularly in sorting out excursions to fit in with our time requirements. They also cheerfully loaned us... More

Regretfully we had only a one night in Split. We both enjoyed this hotel immensely, clean and functional. Yes our room was over the bar, yes there is a noise factor, but it did not bother us. Like numerous other reviews the overwhelming highlight of our stay was the charming Mirjana. She was on the desk at arrival and was... More

Amazing staff, especially Mirjana, who couldn't have been more caring, knowledgeable, helpful, kind ... Stayed 3 nights, excellent location, nice room, had a small terrace overlooking a coffee bar - bit noisy but fun! Highly recommend!

Loved our short stay here. We had the a room on the 4th floor with a large rooftop terrace that looked out over the rooftops, right near Jupiter's Temple in Diocletian's Palace. Breakfast, delivered to us by the hotel staff, was a lovely way to start the day. The hotel is right in the heart of Split, within The Diocletian... More

This was my 5th stay at this hotel every 2 years in October and I just love it. Has one of the best location in the heart of this wonderful old city. The rooms have been redone few years ago with taste (great beds) although quite small, but you can also book few rooms with a terrace (wonderful!) where they... More

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and their prime goal seems to be to make your stay memorable. They make excellent recommendations on things to do and where to eat and even make the relevant bookings on your behalf. The hotel rooms in the palace walls are unique in their centrality.. My daughter and I spent one delightful evening at the Hotel. What a wonderful experience! Our top floor room with a terrace gave us a bird's eye view of Diocletian's Palace and the staff is friendly, accessible, and knowledgeable. Milena, Mirjana, and Antonio are treasures. They purchased our tickets to Hvar, arranged accommodations on Hvar, reserved a garage space for... More

Pros -There are several hotels located within the Diocletian's Palace (Old Town Split) and this is one of them. You are staying amongst all the action as well as history. -Great location: 2 minute walk to the harbour esplanade and 3 minute walk to a supermarket (need direction) -Newly renovated room and bathrooms Cons -Some rooms are small (between 13-20m2)... We stayed at this beautiful hotel for one night, enroute from Brac to Paris. It is right in the centre of the Old city, character, ultra clean rooms, good size. Noise can be a bit of an issue but what else can one expect if staying amidst shops and restaurants.

I stayed one nite in a room above a very trendy restaurant which had activity until the late hours. The room was great but I would ask for a different room so get a good nits sleep.Staff very helpful. Hotel very convenient to exploring the attractions or just sitting on the waterfront to people watch.
