The apartment is in an unbelievable location overlooking the Peristil square. Mario was quick to reply to our emails prior to arrival. We had organised transfer from the airport with him and this worked out well as he escorted us to the apartment which is located in a walking only zone. The apartment is spacious and luxurious with air conditioning... More

Everything said by other reviewers is correct, this luxury accomodation is sensational in a magnificent city. Lovely owner offered lots of great advice on what to see, do and eat. Surrounded by amazing history, sights, restaurants, walking trips, the place has it all. Lucky enough to have the first floor apartment that had an historic ceiling. This is a must... More

Tucked inside the palace walls you'll find the most well kept, pristine one bedroom apartment with unobstructed views of the palace. You can't get any closer to the historical center of Split than this beautiful and comfortable apartment. With that said, if you're looking for quiet time, just close the windows but be aware that the clock tower (right outside... More

My partner and I are extremely well travelled, particularly as independent travellers and this has to be one of the best accommodations we have stayed in across the world. Fabulous location, no more than two minutes to anywhere with a big window overlooking the most interesting part of the Diocletians Palace. Great owners who are easily contactable with nothing too... This has to be the best place to stay in Split!! The location is brilliant, the apartment is part of the main square in Diocletian's palace, this is very busy in the day and at night there is live music played from 8pm, we went and sat on the steps and had a drink and sing along on both nights.... Grisogono Palace was hands down the nicest place in which I have ever stayed. The location literally could not be better. It is part of the main square of Diocletian's Palace, so right in the middle of wonderful Split. The ceilings are the original 13th century wooden ceilings and quite stunning. We were so blown away by the apartment that... More

Located right above the courtyard of Diocletion's Palace in the old city, one can sit on the window sill and listen to music below or simply watch the throngs as they stand marvelling at the scene. The bell tower is immediately opposite. Contrasting with the antiquity of the Palace is the interior decor of the apartment which is tastefully furnished... More

The Grisogono Palace apartment was located in the middle of the historical town of Split. When you open the window the bell tower of Diocletian's Palace is right in front of you. The apartment itself is actually in the heart of the Diocletian's Palace. The apartment dates back to the 13th century, the beautiful painted wooden gothic ceiling and stone... More

The appartment is located in the very hearth of the old Roman Palace and restored by use of correct materials. The furnishing is modern and there is AC installed. We had the most amazing stay for one night (got it for a last minut price), if you have the possibility to stay here do it!
