"Communist Building," reasonable condition, not convenient to town center, but nice sea views. There is now bar in the lobby and the dancing girl signs are down though there is still a night club on the premisis. Had a group dinner and a breakfast; better than average. Rooms standard 3-star. a bit on the worn side but clean and quiet.... more

This hotel has nothing going for it. Large and impersonal hotel that looks like it's about to close down. And the service gives this 'don't care' impression too. Shocking location - no direct access to the sea, and the only public transport to town on a (frankly, dangerous) bus that runs every half hour. LOUD aircon and even LOUDER bar... more

July '04 We stayed in the Hotel Split for 3 nights. Had a suite with a lovely sea view and balcony and I could not fault the suite itself, very nice. The hotel is a bit far from the action and you need to use taxis to get in and out of town about €7-€8 each. The hotel lets itself... more
