Have just come back from four nights here in Studio Apartment with Terrace and Sea View. I was a bit disappointed on first seeing the apartment because it was smelly, but couldn't define the smell. I did ask for another apartment but there was none available. Keeping doors and windows open helped remove the smell. A 30 minute walk past... More

We took a slightly premium room which had a partial view of the sea. The Adriatic sea at Split is so beautiful that i was wondering why i booked a partial view of it and was in some kind of dream that i would wake up sipping to a coffee and watch the sea. In reality, there was no coffee... More

I found this place because I was looking for something outside the "nightlife" places and close to the beach. The building is new, rooms are nice and clean, the personnel is very kind. I am a very demanding customer and I asked many things every day, they helped me to rent a motorcycle, organize an excursion and plan all the... More

As we were on a driving holiday, we needed to find accommodation with parking which was impossible in the centre. The Adriatic Queen is approx 25 min walk from the centre, a pleasant walk past several beaches and about €6 by taxi. It's in the middle of a residential area so very quiet but bars and restaurants are just at... More

We have spend a week in apartment with two bedrooms, well equiped kitchen, nice sitting room with big terrace, one bathroom and one extra toilet. There's a city beach down the quite long and rock stairs. The distance to city center takes about 20-30 minutes by feet on coastline. Also you can count on service, young helpful people with good... We stayed at the Adriatic Queen for eight nights - picked it because it was very convenient to my conference site at the Split University Medical School. Most of the negative comments here don't seem appropriate (or they've fixed things) - there was, in fact, an electric kettle and even a hair dryer (which I didn't expect - could have... More

Accommodation in Split can be difficult. This had the advantage that it is out of town with parking. Very spartan - no kettle (we were told that Croatians "go out for breakfast" and there was a cafe bar round the corner. There was - but it didn't sell food. I asked for a second pillow as I need one for... More

Stayed two nights last week. Because of confuse, booked a large apartment with a high price... Apartment was nice, clean but no sea view and very expensive. Even they didn't have breakfast service with that price. Receptionist was helpful first until we had a problem. But she served a free iron.

If you're looking to spend a lot of time in the centre of Split, I wouldn't recommend Adriatic Queen Apartments; it's located in a quiet (and slightly rought around the edges) part of town & is a good 35 minute trek from the main attractions of the city. Despite it's prison like facade, the room itself was lovely, clean and... More

Ideal for us as we were visiting family close by and the apartment was clean and spacious. Bedding is poor and inadequate. However, the location is some 30-40 mins walk from the Riva and there is no direct or quick access to the beach below despite it being only a few steps away. Plans to do this seem to have... More
