Two girlfriends and I recently stayed at Goly&bosi and loved it so much we extended our stay 2 nights. We stayed in a private room, very clean and modern. The staff was sooo helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. We already miss them! Highly recommended. I am staying here when I come back to Split.

I recently stayed at this hostel which at first view was excited about the prospects that it offered with its clean and colourful look. I had booked a private room and was told at reception that I had been given the premium one so my excitement grew more.. To my room I got and that's where the disappointment set in.... More

The hostel is located right in the middle of the beautiful Split, a 10 minutes walk from the bus station and very close to the Docletian Palace. Staff was great, place was clean and modern. It's definitely the perfect place to rest after a long day exploring the city.

I had a night here before joining up with yacht week in august and it was a great time. It has a prime location right in the heart of the old town near the water and boardwalk. There is a cool courtyard to hang out and have beers in and it is walking distance to everything you want to do.... More

Although it is 'designer' and has double en-suite rooms it is a hostel through and through. The rooms are basic with no 'soft' furnishings. The toughest thing is the noise. With nothing to absorb it every step and voice echoes around the place. Then for added irritation the night watch-person seems to like blasting out music throughout the night downstairs... More

My wife and I stayed here on a recent trip to Croatia. It's allegedly been billed as the second best hostel in the world. I've sytayed in a lot of hostels in my time and this one wouldn't get anywhere near the top 20. It is very modern and has a nice bar on the ground floor. The place has... More

Booked a private double room here at short notice. Very bright yellow and white hotel in a great location handy to to Riva and palace. As a single female I felt very safe walking to and from here. The room was ok, clean and good Wi Fi reception. However, the stairs up to the rooms from the restaurant/ bar area are... More

Used the electronically coded locker in our room to store £1000 (cash for myself and 2 friends) plus an iPhone whilst we went out at night. When we opened the locker in the morning the money and phone were gone. This discovery was distressing in itself, and made worse by the staff who were unhelpful to the point of rude.... More

Go somewhere else This hotel is desperately trying to be super cool, but it misses the main point of any sort of accommodation: it is there for you to SLEEP in. I stayed in a dorm with friends. Rooms are off an open corridor, meaning that whatever floor you are on, there is only one thin door between you and... More

We had two rooms, normal and one of the more expensive. The rooms were clean and are nice designed. The location is perfect. While the whole appareance of the hostel has its own experience, we found it is too expensive for what we got. Breakfast was horrible, the more expensive room was a joke. Toilet and shower are combined so... More

So, you decided to check out Croatia this year? Small country in the southeast corner of Europe, with the cleanest sea, thousand islands scattered across the horizon, great sunsets, great food and wine and friendly people everybody was telling you about? So, it is decided. All you need now is a place to stay. Place where you can feel at home, from which you can go up and down the coast as you like and then come back to cool down within thick walls of an ancient Roman city. Why don't you try the second best hostel in the world? Leaning on a thick wall of palace it used to be a warehouse in the 16th century. At some point it's interior space was converted to a shopping mall and that is when we decided to make it into a hostel... ... more   less
