This hostel is a pleasant place to stay, however it does have a few faults. My friends and I didn't like that you couldn't lock the rooms, and that the showers were always cold. Staff could have been friendlier and more helpful and the beds could have been a lot comfier. The location and cleanliness meant that the problems previously... More

We booked a double room via booking.com in this Hostel. It was never explained anywhere that the room, actually an apartment, was remote from the hostel and from the old town. The apartment was dirty, wet, it stinked, there were bugs. The two single beds were old, and dirty, and all of this for the lovely price of 70 euros... More

I stayed in 3 places in Croatia and this was by far the worst value for money. I was in one of the apartments: room itself was ok and in a great location, but the wifi didn't work (and the guy at reception told me he was too busy to fix it), there wasn't enough hot water, and the walls... More

I stayed in a 12-bed dorm, the hostel is not easy to find, the room is not properly aired and constantly open to anyone (you get a locker for your belongings but not everything fits). The sanitaries are unisex and dreadful (only a curtain for the shower, anyone can get in while you shower). It's an OK alternative for a... More

The location couldn't be better (for visit, supermarket, restaurant, night life, ferry boat, bus station, etc) as the Hostel is truly located in the dioclatian palace, the main city center. Being a guest of the Hostel you have discount for different activities, we choose sea kayaking and it was worth it. Receptionist were nice and helpful but contact by e-mail... More

in short - might try and find elsewhere to stay next time, but had a good experience. If you stay, ask for a discount if you have any problems, they'll give u 10% back! The website and reviews give you the impression that the hostel is an expensive hell hole. The pictures online are actually incorrect. We didn't see anything... More

The hostel is located within the palace, which is pretty cool. However, the staff was completely disinterested and not all that helpful. The place was filled with loud partiers so definitely not a place to stay if you actually want to get to sleep. Also, the communal sinks (at least two of them and the floor) in the bathroom were... Well the only good thing I can say about this place is the location! There is no common room to meet people, showers are filthy and broken with hot water running out., and there is no locks on the rooms , only on the lockers.they don't even offer you hostel identification to prove your staying there. I was staying in... More

Initially the hostel looks great, perfect location and room A is gorgeous. Unfortunately the rooms boast dirty corners, limited power points, cold showers, and zero security. Staff don't monitor people coming in and there are zero lockable doors between your bed and the street. One room had all their electronics stolen from their lockers.. which were still locked after the theft...... More

Where do I start? When we arrived and went to our dorm it was filthy - food left out, rubbish on the floor, used tissues down the side of the bed. The staff told us the room was tidied at 2pm (we arrived at 4pm) so the mess was created between those two hours which we found hard to believe.... More
