Hi This is not a hotel as described by bookings.com. There are only four rooms to stay in. Its a residential building apart from the ground floor. Its a 40 minute walk (non stop walking) into the main centre of split (old town). Breakfast was bread, cheeses, cold meat, yogurt, jam doughnut, tea & coffee. Outside pool is very small... More

When I arrived at 9:30 /10:00 p.m, I arrived to a dark and empty apartment building (after having to stop to ask for directions from another hotel). After trying all the entrances into the building, I finally found a open door but the building was completely dark. after a few laps around the building, (and discussing leaving and going to... More

We stayed here for a night on our way through the area. Nicely appointed room, in a very nicely designed mixed use building. But at providing a good night's sleep, not so much. AC shuts off at night, the walls are entirely too thin and the cleaning staff appears at an open patio door (see "AC doesn't work at night,... More

Good size clean rooms opening out to the pool area, dog friendly, breakfast was not wonderful, bread ham and cheese, Yoghurt, croissant etc. The spa facilities were very good, if we had used them more it may have been worth the money as we didn't it seemed expensive. Our fridge in the room didn't work all the time we were... More

If you are only looking for a room without and Services, breakfast or anything more...this place may be for you. We arrived after 8pm and found nobody. After searching through the entire building we found what was supposed to be the reception. Here we found a key Card to our room. That was it! No further contact with the staff... More

After walking for a while until we found it (it is not very well signposted) all was forgiven when we finally arrived! This spa hotel is beautifully designed and is luxury personified! The receptionist who greeted us was so lovely! Let us settle into our room and then showed us all of the facilities, explaining everything we needed. He even... More

Please note, I am a regular contributor to TA and the negative 1 review only contributors are not giving a true reflection of this place, so please read on. Stayed for 3 nights and found this accommodation perfect. As usual checked the reviews on TA and was marginally concerned with one review, which was more negative about incidents that happened... My partner and I stayed in one of the apartments about 100 metres from the main hotel. We paid £533.00 for 5 nights. Before we left UK we emailed the hotel who booked us a mini van to collect us from the airport and sure enough, we were greated by the shuttle driver holding a card with our name on... More

We stayed in one of Filomena’s hotel rooms for three nights in July 2013. Our friends stayed at one of their apartments. The experience was very disappointing altogether, and definitely not worth 4 stars or the money we paid for it: filthy pool, insufficient cleaning, bad customer service, lousy breakfast – and no gym, although Filomena’s website and Tripadvisor page... We booked this hotel as we wanted a hotel with a pool - but there aren't that many in Split unless you stay a fair way out of the town. The Filomena turned out to be the perfect option. It's about 3-4km outside the old town, but there are a couple of buses you can take just up the road... More
