I've stayed at Posada San Sebastian three times and will return for my next trip. The hotel is centrally located, just a few steps from Central Park and many excellent restaurants. The property is quirky and cozy, packed with all kinds of interesting antiques and decorations... I would definitely recommend making this your temporary home while visiting Antigua!

Four of my friends and I stayed at the San Sebastian our first and last nights in Guatemala. The location is great -- about 2 blocks from the main square, and just around the corner from Dona Luisa's bakery, a terrific bakery and restaurant. The owner Luis was very helpful and we even had use of the kitchen. Each room... More

So pretty place. Fantastic furniture, enviroment. Our room was wide, with a private bathroom. Big jacuzzi, hot water (rare in Guatemala). The best memory i bring with my self is the polite and kindness of Luis, the owner. Brillant woodworker, kept in perfect conditions every kind of furniture and put in the rooms: mirrors, beds, fountains.. everything is amazing. And... More

Amazing location, very friendly and helpful service, beautiful rooms. A trip to the fairy tale. Good for families, couples and singles. A lovely rooftop to enjoy the sunset and the views of volcanoes.

We left the hotel we were originally booked into through Intrepid and after walking the streets came across this lovely hotel. Luis couldnt have been more helpful. Not to many rooms so obviously not to many guests that made it nice and quite. The roof top terrace has the most amazing 360degree views. It was close to the Parque central... More

This posada is an amazing two blocks from the Parque Central--making it a short walk to everything. The miracle is that at night, you cannot hear traffic or street noise. THe décor is funky--lots of old art, crucifixes, sculptures and paintings all over. The beds are comfortable enough and there is plenty of hot water. They do not serve breakfast... More

We located here after problem with our other accommodation. The owner is incredibly friendly and the place clean and quiet. Very Central, only one street away from the main square. My friend had to go to hospital and he helped to make sure everything was Ok. Can recommend.

A very peaceful, quiet place to stay, close to everything in Antigua. Luis, the owner is so helpful and attentive. He makes your experience in Antigua complete. Clara who looks after the rooms is also a star and will do all she can to help. The Posada San Sebastian also seems to attract some of the most interesting and agreeable... More

My friend and I stayed here for one night before leaving for San Pedro. The host Luis, is charming...answered our emails promptly when we discovered she'd left her iPad charger there and kindly set it aside for us to pick up. The place itself is very unusual....it's packed with antiques and feels like a museum...so much stuff! If you like... More

I have stayed in the Posada San Sebastian twice in the past three years. This year, I did not stay there because I was attending a conference at another hotel, but would have stayed there if not for that. The place is full of antique collections that are left in their natural state and contribute to the quirky ambiance of... More
