Pros: the rooms and beds were excellent and extremely clean, including the bathrooms. The staff are constantly cleaning. It is very nice and high quality for a cheap price, especially for the area. Nice rooftop common area. Really good breakfast included, you just have to get up early to eat it. Cons: small kitchen is very difficult to use All... More

This wonderful hostel is spotless, it's beautifully decorated and they take care of every little detail. The rooms have comfy beds, TV and fan and the ones on the second floor are lovely, with a view to the yellow church and volcanoes... The terrace is also really nice with sofas, tables and chairs and hammocks. The breakfast they serve is... More

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights at the yellow house and thought it was the best hostel we stayed at on all our travels. It didn't feel like a hostel, absolutely spotless, rooms were nicely decorated and chill area was very relaxing/sociable. Every morning I woke up excited for breakfast which was delicious/ freshly made with much variety,... More

I had emailed and called multiple times trying to book a room and finally received a response that a room was available and that I should pay via Paypal. I responded immediately confirming that we would like the room and requesting the link to pay. We didn't receive an email for another day and then, after calling again to request... More

The rooftop terrace is great very comfortable setting and nice hammocks. Accommodating and friend Guatemalan staff, amazing breakfast, and good bathrooms (all separate, individual and hot showers) I stayed in the dorm which was close to the street and noisy at night, but still nice, comfy beds not bunk beds. Medium sized lockers available (bring your own lock), options for... More

I absolutely loved it and I will no doubt stay there again. It's all shared bathrooms, but it is a very clean hostal. Breakfast was amazing too and the staff was so friendly! Loved the hammock area, it has an amazing view of the volcanoes! Definitely recommed it!!!

Yellow house was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Antigua. The private rooms were lovely with big windows and fans to keep cool. The lounge area has great views on the volcano and comfy furniture. The breakfasts were amazing and staff friendly and helpful. Very clean. Kitchen is small, so if more than one person cooking it... The Yellow House is a lovely little hostel. Best part definitely the free breakfast! Lots and lots of really yummy food. Place was very clean, showers were good. Lovely roof terrace with hammocks and chairs. Helpful staff available to book tours and shuttles. It's not a party hostel so don't come here if that's what you're after, has definitely more... More

We just stayed one night but we were really surprised. Super nice staff (especially at the breakfast), the rooms decorated to make you feel a little like at home. And best: the breakfast included. Burrito, huevos, pancake...whatever you wish for. Chilled people, every age, no party hostel. Loved it.
