I have stayed at the Candelaria Antigua for a week every year since 2011. It is pretty inconspicuous from the outside, but is exquisite on the inside. The courtyard is both beautiful and calming. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate your needs and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The majority of my meals were eaten... More

The views from the roof of Hotel Candelaria were amazing. Watching the clouds pass the volcano each morning was moving. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive, the hotel was clean and well maintained. My only complaint would be the echo of noise from the other guests, the courtyard seemed to vibrate with voices. I would definitely stay there again.

I was blown away by the accommodations. It was charming and well kept. The staff are kind and considerate and willing to help with anything. I especially loved the garden and the view from the roof was amazing. I can't wait for the opportunity to go back.

What an amazing place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and has hand crafted works of art through out the property. But what makes this hotel a must stay, is the owner and staff. They made me feel more like family than a guest. This was my second stay and I am sure it will not be my last!

Hotel Candelaria is an absolutely wonderful place to stay and the perfect choice for any visit to Antigua. Besides the physical charm and beauty of the hotel, the staff is always ready and willing to help with any questions or requests. Every detail of this hotel has been carefully crafted. The handcrafted wooden doors and furniture are simply exquisite. The staff goes above and beyond to serve. The location is perfect for walking to the markets of Antigua. My family stays there every summer.

I spent 7 days at the Hotel Candelaria this past week which was not nearly enough time. This is by far the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. From the beautiful center atrium and breath taking views from the roof top terrace to the hand crafted furniture, everything is designed for a relaxing Antigua holiday. The staff was... More

I have stayed at the Candelaria for one week for the past 7 years. It is a gorgeous hotel with a beautiful court yard, comfortable rooms and a fantastic rooftop view of three volcanoes. The hospitality found here is top notch, very friendly and accommodating.
