I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at Hotel Casa Cristina and highly recommend it. I've stayed in two different rooms, both on the second floor - and enjoyed them both. The beds were comfortable and the price is affordable.l I really liked the room over the street, as it was a bit larger and had a lovely window offering a... More

We stayed on the top floor (3 nights) which had amazing views of the surrounding volcanoes. The rooms were spacious. We enjoyed sitting up on the rooftop terrace each night to watch the sunset. The staff was very friendly and helpful with tours and arranging shuttles. There is a water available to fill up bottles. They do have coffee and... More

Rooms on the lower floors appear a bit claustrophobic. I stayed in an upstairs room and found it to be excellent - comfortable, quirkly and clean but maybe a little small. However, for the price it was excellent value for money. Friendly staff, a sitting room, good internet, roof terrace to enjoy sunsets and coffee available 24/7 plus a wonderful... More

I read nice things on TA and wasn't disappointed. Lovely very Guatemalan feel, nice attention to decor, super friendly staff, a very helpful owner. I peeked into other rooms and they are all very nice. The rooftop garden is a great little spot to sit and enjoy the volcano. Location is perfect - the street is quiet yet it's just... More

Great Location - central but not noisy. Short walk to the main square and to the market. The staff was very helpful giving directions, setting up bus transfers and booking tours. The rooms were simple and clean. The room I stayed in was dark, even though it had a window. I don't think you'd get sunlight unless you were on... More

Hi Sandy, thank you very much for you lovely review! I think you may have missed our roof-top terrace? The stairs up to it are right next to the covered social area! Im sorry if you missed it, and hope to have you back here someday to enjoy it! :) More

Hotel Casa Cristina was really lovely. It was centrally located but not on a busy street. It was very clean, and just around the corner from a very nice coffee cafe. They arranged our very late night airport pick up and all went smoothly. It felt safe, and it has a wonderful rooftop garden, excellent for watching the sunrises!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Owner Rosario speaks good English and is very helpful. She even helped us to sort out a taxi to the airport a week after we had left and just happened to be passing back through town, No breakfasts, but there is tea and coffee and complimentary bread and buns... This is a super place to stay in Antigua. Off of the noisy main streets, but centrally located. The staff are friendly and helpful, and will answer any questions you have on restaurants and trips etc. Very clean as well.

This little hotel is a gem for the price. I stayed here February 2014, in two different rooms-(had to move on a Saturday, as full) The owner, Rosario, is a lovely woman, and gives help and advice, speaks fluent English (as does Karen, her daughter) and others on duty understand enough English to get by (and are very friendly). The... More

I stayed on the bottom floor in this side street hotel in Antigua, I found the location was central, the hotel and rooms clean. My room had a window facing the hallway and I could hear the noise of conversations and people walking by. At times I felt that I could hear people think with walls being so thin. However... More
