Quiet hotel, very close to Antigua´s main plaza with very friendly service. The rooms are very different one from the others, pick the right one. The best are on the top floor. Don´t forget to go to the terrace to watch the light at sunrise.

As a solo senior female traveler I could not have found a better place to stay. My room was perfect and the morning coffee on the roof was worth the stay alone. It was easy to get to all the attractions, and the staff were more than helpful. This place was recommended to me by anther traveler, and I would... More

Great location with friendly staff and lovely rooftop patio where guests can sit and drink morning coffee. The hotel is clean, showers work well. It is located on a quiet street near La Merced, so it is the perfect location for exploring Antigua. An excellent value.

Casa Cristina is a little oasis on a quiet street, a short distance from the craziness around the park, ½ block from La Merced. I walked everywhere day and night and always felt safe. There are great breakfast options just around the corner. I had a room with view of volcano which was special and refrigerator. There is free coffee... More

So let me explain my low rating and emphasize that I understand our mistake. That being said here's what happened. My mom and I stayed for one or two nights and really loved the place, great quality for the price and the workers are very friendly and accommodating. We asked if we could leave our bags in storage while we... More

Thank-you, for your nice words. We are sorry, that you feel that the Lempiras were taken from that closet. We try to go the extra mile for our guests and the storage facility is free of charge and has a sign to lock your bags and that we are not responsible for them; since anyone can leave their bags in... I typically stay at Hotel Casa Cristina when in Antigua. For this price range, it is a great value. Everything is always sparkling clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the structure is quaint and charming. The reading room on the top floor and the roof deck are great places to enjoy the tranquility of the place. If... More

I spent five nights at Casa Cristina this February. I opted for a more expensive room on the third floor. The view was excellent. Room was comfortable, clean, and well taken care of during my stay. The staff couldn't be friendlier -- quickly answered e-mails prior to the visit, and were ready to help whenever I needed it. They arranged... More

The warm, welcoming staff, ideal location and range of fairly-priced rooms make Hotel Casa Cristina our first choice in Antigua. Breakfast at Fernando's just a few doors down is not to be missed, ditto the truly great coffee at El Rufugio just a few blocks away.

We stayed at Casa Cristina on 2 separate occasions in Mid February 2015. The first time we had room # 11 on the top floor. It was bright, clean, cheery, had a fridge, and when you opened up the shutters you have a spectacular unobstructed view of the surrounding volcanos. The owner is very pleasant, speaks English, can arrange shuttle... More

Hotel Casa Cristina is certainly worth a visit during your stay in Antigua. Rosario is so helpful to work with when booking your trip and planning your adventures while in Antigua. The room has a beautiful rooftop area that overlooks the whole city and has fantastic views of the volcanos. It's surrounded by a great coffee shop, and wonderful restaurants.... More
