This is a fairly bare bones review. The Casa Cristina is a simple and lovely little hotel in the heart of Antigua and close to everything. The hotel has everything one needs to be safe, clean, and comfortable. Bells and whistles? Maybe not. But then again, for the price you can't really expect them. The whole facility has an old... We stayed here after a night in a horrible hotel and what a difference a day makes! Lovely room (#5) with clean bathroom. Very helpful staff and constant wifi. Free coffee and water all day. Highly recommend it!

Casa Cristina has a great location in central Antigua! Clean well kept rooms with hot and cold waters in showers! Quit area with very high sleep comfort! WIFI worked very well all the time and was up fast after a thunderstorm! Excellent, service minded and friendly staff! View from the roof over Antigua is very nice! Only weakness was the... More

My husband & I stayed here for 4 days when we first arrived in Guatemala. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The place is very clean & there's coffee & rolls in the morning. It's off a side street so it's not noisy but it's still close to everything in Antigua. They even have storage for your clothes or... More

You can't beat the service at this simple and sweet hotel. The rooms are small, and very clean. Hot water all the time and faithful internet access. Its located a few blocks from el parque central. The best by far is the service. Rosaria, owner and manager, couldn't be better at helping you enjoy your stay. She's very friendly and... More

My sister and I booked one of the inexpensive rooms for our stay in Antigua. We left Antigua, and went up through northern Guatemala, and liked Casa Cristina so much that we stayed again while passing through Antigua a second time. Our room was simple but nice. We had been backpacking Central America and to us, Casa Cristina was a... More

I was initially disappointed by the size and plainness of our room, number 10. That's the last negative thing I will say. We were given room 10 because we requested an extra bed for our 12 year old son, and it fit best there. Both the room and the common area were immaculately clean. The beds were firm and comfortable.... More

After arriving from busy Guatemala City, we felt safe and relaxed at Casa Christina. The owner and her daughter are very friendly and helpful, and so is the rest of the staff. We loved our views of Vulcan Agua from room 11. Excellent location and good value for money. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had just arrived from Japan and the 30 hour trip had taken its toll. Rosario was the most welcoming host and kindly let us in a room so that we could sleep/recover despite us arriving very early and our room not being ready. We had one of the rooms on the top floor, it was lovely and very clean.... More

Our stay in Casa Cristina was largely good - very clean, comfortable room in a good location with nice staff. Also free coffee every day, which was nice. For the price, I would stay here again. Drawbacks - I would definitely not stay in room #1. As other posters have mentioned its right on the street and extremely loud. We... More

Thank you for your comment. Our prices are quoted in Quetzales and have not changed over the last 4 years, even when the Dollar has devaluated to Q 7.64. We have kept our prices to Q8 = $1 and absorbed the difference; which in our cheapest double room is Q 240 we charge $30 instead of $31.41(Q240÷7.64= $31.41). We have... More
