My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Encantada for five nights over the Easter period and only have great things to say about the place. The hotel itself is intimate and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and managed to book all our tours and excursions without a hitch, despite the fact that my Spanish it terrible. A... more

After being in the wilderness for two days, Casa Encatada was a wonderful find. We were in Guatemala in 2007 and when we flew in we went straight to the lake - Lago de Atitlan. And stayed at Hotel Bambu at a lil lakeside town called Santiago de Atitlan for two days. It was in the middle of nowhere but... more

I loved my stay at Casa Encantada... The hotel is so tranquil and relaxing, it really is great!! The location is about a 10 minute walk to the central park but is worth being that little bit further out because the rooms are beautiful. I stayed in a Queen Room room which although a little on the small side, had... more

I echo all the complimentary reviews, but add that I would definitely stay in the rooftop suite at least once before I die!!! Our twin room was so nice but from the minute I saw the suite, with it's large jacuzzi tub, marble bath and fireplace, I knew it would be my goal to have it next time. The terrace... more

What a lovely hotel! I was so pleasantly surprised this hotel, which was far more beautiful that I expected based on its website, which made it appear quite plain. This small boutique hotel really pulled out all of the stops, and its attention to detail made for a wonderful stay. The rooms featured stunning old timbers, framed indigenous textiles and... more

We stayed in the roof-top suite for three nights and the whole experience was just wonderful. A large, lovely room, quiet, beautifully decorated. The staff was always on-hand with reservations, suggestions, etc. Also, this hotel is four block from the Parque Central, close enough to walk and far away enough to be out of the crowds and noise. I don't... more

We came here as the first stop on our honeymoon in Jan 08. I can only echo the other reviews here - it's a beautiful, small, tranquil base for exploring Antigua. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable and eating the fantastic breakfast on the sunny roof terrace is something I will never forget. Highly recommended! more

We stayed at Casa Encantada in mid-January. The property is lovely! We had room 7. (queen room). To get to the room, you walk over a lilly pond on big boulders. In the evening, candles are placed along the path. SO BEAUTIFUL. The room wasn't large but quite comfortable and not noisy at all! Loved the roof top for a... more

My wife, 10 year old son and I spent 5 nights at the Casa Encantada over New Year’s 2008. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the hotel to others. We stayed in the rooftop suite. It was comprised of a single, largish (compared to the rest of the rooms) bedroom and a large (by any standard) bathroom that had... more

There is nothing that I can say to add to the multitude of compliments for this hotel listed here. A wonderful little gem with amazing personal service that is worth every penny. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Antigua. more
