We stayed in the roof-top suite for three nights and the whole experience was just wonderful. A large, lovely room, quiet, beautifully decorated. The staff was always on-hand with reservations, suggestions, etc. Also, this hotel is four block from the Parque Central, close enough to walk and far away enough to be out of the crowds and noise. I don't... more

We came here as the first stop on our honeymoon in Jan 08. I can only echo the other reviews here - it's a beautiful, small, tranquil base for exploring Antigua. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable and eating the fantastic breakfast on the sunny roof terrace is something I will never forget. Highly recommended! more

We stayed at Casa Encantada in mid-January. The property is lovely! We had room 7. (queen room). To get to the room, you walk over a lilly pond on big boulders. In the evening, candles are placed along the path. SO BEAUTIFUL. The room wasn't large but quite comfortable and not noisy at all! Loved the roof top for a... more

My wife, 10 year old son and I spent 5 nights at the Casa Encantada over New Year’s 2008. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the hotel to others. We stayed in the rooftop suite. It was comprised of a single, largish (compared to the rest of the rooms) bedroom and a large (by any standard) bathroom that had... more

There is nothing that I can say to add to the multitude of compliments for this hotel listed here. A wonderful little gem with amazing personal service that is worth every penny. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Antigua. more

Casa Encantada is one of the best hotels in which we have stayed in Guatemala. It is not one of the large "Chain Hotels" and has a lot of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and neat. If I didn't know better, I would think our room was fairly new. The showers had... more

If you stay in Casa Encantada's roof-top suite, as we did, you will find it is comfortable, spacious, beautifully furnished and quiet. We heard other guests, who stayed on the first floor, complaining about the street noise. The staff at Casa Encantada were unsurpassed--each one was extremely helpful, doing everything possible to insure a pleasant stay. We were there for... more

Being from Guatemala I have been to Antigua countless times - and have stayed at several of the hotels. In my opinion, nothing compares to Casa Encantada and I honestly don't understand why it currently sits at #26 on this list. It's a hotel-de-charme where every little detail has been thought of. There are only a handful of rooms, which... more

Just got back from a lovely week in Guatemala, and a 3-night stay in Casa Encantada. It was everything the prior Trip Advisor reviews had indicated--comfy beds, romantic roof terrace, exceptionally gracious and helpful front desk staff, good location. A bit of affordable luxury. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends. And Antigua is a gem! more

We stayed for ten nights, in one of the king suites. It was the most comfortable bed i've every slept in. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with any of our requests and the breakfast on the rooftop was amazing every morning......I would come back in a heart beat, and hope too one day:-) more
