I have stayed in this hotel on two occasions during the past month and find it to be clean, well maintained, quiet (I.e. not in noisy part of town) and excellent value yet comfortable and quite safe. I stayed on the first floor where the rooms open to an inviting garden with lush greenery and a small fountain. Although the... More

Very friendly staff, location is good, everything is easily to access if you walk from Casa Florencia. The room was spotless clean and well maintained. We stayed in room 4 for a period of two nights and the downfall was the extreme darkness and humid room. Unfortunately we had a room on the ground floor where no outside light is... More

We read your recent review and thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate the positive comments you made about the staff, location and cleanliness of the hotel. At Casa Florencia, we have four rooms on the first level with an open hallway bordered by narrow, long garden with rich green shade ferns outside these rooms.... More

Hotel is nice and comfy not a luxury hotel but it is more than expected for the price. Staff is very polite and offer great service. When I stayed here I had my car parked in the free patking they offer but it's basically an empty lot where they stuff cars. It doesn't look that safe and if you have... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your recent experience at Casa Florencia Hotel. We appreciate your comments about our staff, service and your statement about the value provided. Regarding our parking lot, it is an enclosed parking lot that is shared only between two hotels. The parking lot door is locked at all times and opened... More

I stayed here for my first two nights in Antigua, and while it's a nice hotel, extremely clean, well located just North of the square in a photogenic part of the neighborhood, I felt the hotel was a somewhat sterile. I preferred my other stops which had a bit more character and were generally more welcoming. I'd stay here again,... More

I brought a tour group of 14 people to Casa Florencia for two nights in February, and I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, their friendly and helpful staff (the owner speaks very good English), reliable wi-fi and endless hot water that I recently returned for one night on my way to Panajachel. In my experience, good,... More

I brought a group of 12 here for 2 nights. No complaints ! (which is a lot to say for such a group)The place was charming, the management was professional & extra helpful, and even the natural limitations of an old structure were nuanced in a way that made it memorable. Thank you Lorena for a VERY pleasant experience

My daughter and I stayed at Casa Florencia for a total of 6 nights. We used it as our base of operations as we traveled to Atitlan and Copan for side trips. The staff at Casa Florencia were very responsive and excellent to work with. The breakfast next door were ok but you have to tell the lady there what... More

My family and I have stayed here at least 4 times in the past 10 years. The hotel hasn't changed much in the 10 years we have been visiting. It is impeccably clean. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. There is a ground floor and a 2nd floor. The second floor has a balcony the faces southward such that... More

Following the great reviews on Trip Advisor, my friends and I booked this place to spend Semana Santa. The best aspect of this place is probably its location--it is right on many of the procession routes, and you can literally walk right out the door to catch some of the best processions of the week. The accommodations are beautiful, especially... More

we stayed at Casa Florencia 3/9-12/2015 and loved it. We were on the upper floor with the lovely view of the volcano. The staff was exceptionally helpful, arranging for an airport pickup in Guatemala City directly to the hotel in advance. The breakfasts were delicious. The front desk answered all of our questions about getting around and gave us suggestions... More
