This is my second time staying here and always a pleasure, with good staff, very secure setting and close to everything! The rooms are very well appointed, considering the size of the establishment, and on the weekends one gets a very good full breakfast included in the rent! I prefer the upper level as you get a great view of... More

This was our 2nd visit to the Casa Florencia Hotel in Antigua after a 4-year absence, & it felt like we were back home--it was great to see the friendly, welcoming, helpful staff again! Casa Florencia offers wonderful value for the money: comfortable rooms, fantastic views just outside the second floor rooms, full hot breakfasts every morning, excellent location (a... More

Our tour recently stayed at Casa Florencia Hotel, a 14 room hotel in Antiqua, Guatemala. The price was reasonable & included breakfast. The place is immaculately clean, the hot water endless, the beds comfortable, the staff is friendly and the location is within easy walking of the square. When the volcano Fuego blew, spewing ash and closing the airport, the... More

A well located small hotel just north of the city centre. Nice, friendly staff. All the rooms face onto an open corridor, downstairs, or a nice balcony, upstairs. This means you can sit out rather than being confined to the room. The hotel feels very secure, with the front door being locked at all times and rooms having individual lock... More

Having spent an amazing long weekend there a year ago, my partner and I were excited to return to Casa Florencia last month. After booking our second go-round, Lorena and crew were thoughtful enough to email us every now and then to keep us abreast of possible complications re: airport transport due to the busy holiday season during which we... My partner and I loved it so much at Casa Florencia that we've stayed there both times we've visited Antigua. Casa Florencia is a lovely small hotel with really friendly staff. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk away from Parque Central and it's a four-minute walk away from La Iglesia de La Merced. Whatever you do, be sure to... More

This is truly a hidden gem in Antigua! I am certain there is no better value for the money in the whole town. The rooms were modest, but hands down the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Breakfast was hot and fresh each morning and quite adequate for the day. Staff was friendly and always right there to unlock the... More

Mid-priced, spotlessly clean, friendly, good breakfasts, stunning volcano views from the second floor. The walls are a bit thin, but the place is pretty quiet overall, especially for it's "urban" location. Speaking of the location, Antigua is a very safe town that stays lively after dark, but keep in mind that the hotel is a 15 minute or so walk... More

We recently returned from a trip to Guatemala, staying three nights in this comfortable, convenient, and efficient hotel. The hotel staff is welcoming, helpful, and watches out for our safety in all matters. The rooms are very clean and conducive to rest/relaxation and they are quiet. The view from rooms on the second level is beautiful. (I often rose early... More

Casa Florencia Hotel has provided our groups with hospitable, clean, safe.....and beautiful accommodations for several years. While not far from the main square, it is quiet. Sitting in the little breakfast area, looking down the inside garden, listening to the fountain, a wonderful way to prepare for and reflect on the day. Couldn't be better.
