When you first arrive at this hotel the lobby and hallway area are set up nicely. You get the feeling you have walked into a nice hotel. Unfortunately, that ends when you get to your room. The room I had on the second floor 25 was very plain and dated. It could use a big spruce up. The walls are... More

. Background: Our group stayed at this hotel on the final night of our 3-week Central American tour. PROS: Location... location... location is its best asset. Centrally-located just one block from La Merced square, it is mere steps away from shops and restaurants. The hotel's façade incorporates old Spanish colonial design elements with its large wooden gated entrance and reflected... More

The beds there felt like a cloud was cradling me. I have never slept in a bed so soft. The water from the taps were drinkable, a rarity in Guatemala. If you need to exchange money, the hotel offered a fair rate, much better than the airport. The breakfast bar was pretty comprehensive: fruit juices; breads; hot bar; omelet bar... More

I wonder why people, especially from North America are so nasty when talking about small hotels and tour operators, especially when they are based in Latin America! We bought this cheap vacation package, that we found on a travel blog in one of our local Russian website, we hesitate at first to use Vacation Super Deals especially after reading some... More

We stayed here for over 5 nights in total. Three nights at first then a break for two, finally returning for another two, and both times it was fantastic. The staff were more than willing to direct you to the nearest landmark and attractions, with their maps. Wonderfully situated close--by to the main square Posada La Merced provided the tranquillity... More

When I entered the hotel everything was beautiful and seemed very quiet which is normal during the low season. An older white lady with at reception who looked a little like Meryle Streep was on the phone. I waited a couple minutes and when she finished the conversation there was very little exchange at all. She acted as if I... More

The hotel is well situated but the rooms are very small, we had it in a all inclusive trip and it was the worst between 10... arrived late the water stopped while taking my shower, we had to change the room.

Stayed for 3 nights.  Reservation process is simple and no deposit was needed. Arrived earlier than expected so had to wait a little but then we had a choice of several rooms. Took one of the top floor ones which are nice and airy. The bathrooms are pretty small though.  Safe deposit box is available and the rooftop terrace was... More

We stayed here as part of a group for 4 nights, the rooms are centred round a court yard with windows looking out, this is a bit unnerving as people can look in as they pass to there own rooms. Bathroom was tiny but clean. Free wifi and complementary drinks add a nice touch. I would say Antigua is a... More
