My fiancé and I stayed at Zoola for 7 nights and loved it. The hostel is very nicely designed wth a good mix of relaxing lounge areas and social bar/pool space. The food is excellent, although the slightly more expensive than elsewhere in town- the large portions make it worth it though. Our room was very clean and the whole... More

We had flafel dishes and soups. Both were of the highest standard of taste, presentation and temperature. Great value for money. Be prepared to be in a young person's habitat, loud (but good) music and "cushions on the floor" seating!

My friends and I just went to relax at the pool and have a drink near the bar. The experience was pleasant enough for a few hours and the bartender seemed nice. The setting is pretty near the lake but the lady who met us at the door could have been a bit more pleasant.

Kind of expensive but really pretty communal area. The food was AMAZING so even if you don't stay here, come to eat here! The dorms had quite a lot of beds and wasn't too central but Antigua is small enough that this doesn't matter. No kitchen which is a shame but still an enjoyable stay.

The communal area is easily this places best asset. However the showers and bathrooms are very clean. The food is also really good- especially the breakfast smoothie. However if you want to stay I would recommend you ask to stay I the bigger dorms I.e. The ones facing the street as they're much better.

I'm not much for writing reviews on the places that I stay, but I have to warn others of what happened to me here. I'll first start with the good. Decent price, 65Q a night, Very, very good buffet which I found out later was luck as we hit it on a Friday night where they go all out. The... More

Ok the poolside/ lakeside bar is very pretty but beyond that this is a sub-standard hostel. The pool was very cold so noone actually swims in it. There was a sense that you had to be jewish to stay here and the food was expensive and service was slow. No kitchen and half our laundry went missing. The rooms are... More

I stayed 3 nights over a weekend. Apart from a friend I checked in with I didn't speak to anyone there for the whole 3 days. beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Chill out area is huge but not well utilised. Single bathroom for whole hostel was far too small. Prefer elsewhere.

We chose this hostel because it looked good. Recommended in Lonely Planet Guide including for its Israeli restaurant (good for my semi-vegetarian travelling companion). Centrally located. A beautiful old building decorated in bright colours. The hot showers etc work. Dorms spacious and beds wide. We booked in for three nights. The only upfront disadvantage was that there was no kitchen... More
