The Posada Asjemenou could use some repairs and updating. My room was on the scuzzy side, with a dank bathroom, torn window screens and flimsy curtains. We stayed at this hotel for our last night in Antigua and it was the worst mistake we made. We had an amazing time in Guatemala, including our days in Antigua, but ended on a terrible note at this place. Our room was a double with a private bathroom. It smelled terrible as if it was totally infested with mold.... more

Room had very dim lites. Bathroom was dirty. Ants everywhere. Stayed one night and left. Found better accomendations at half the price a block away. more

The Posada Asjemenou has a beautiful courtyard restaurant and a welcoming atmosphere. It is located on the pedestrian street leading to the Arch at La Merced - a city landmark.
