My wife and I have just returned from a delightful time at this hotel. We had two stays during our visit to Antigua, sleeping in both standard room and suite. This hotel is not a five star as it does lack some of the facilities that are usually included in these establishments IE air con, tea and coffee maker. However what... More

Surprises are the best things to have. I found Meson Panza Verde only by chance after noticing a small ad on the local magazine advertising an art show. What I joy when we arrived and saw that what I thought was going to be a local art space- low budget type, was instead a fabulous old building that had been... More

My son and I stayed here for a week in July and really enjoyed our time. The hotel is centrally located, comfortable and lovely. My only regret was not having dinner at the hotel, but the breakfasts are fantastic and the front desk staff very helpful.

Amazing views of surrounding mountains and interesting archaeological building. We ate at this restaurant with a large group of twelve. They were able to accommodate all of us with a variety of orders: fish, chicken, pastas and lamb. Price range was about $20 - $30 for an entree.

My friend and I stayed here for 3 days last week and were sorry we had to leave! The Jr. executive suite was beautifully decorated, comfy and cozy living area with a fireplace and semi-private garden/patio. Bedroom had 2 beds and a spacious bathroom. Initially we thought it would be noisy as the room is close to diners and kitchen... More

My 11 year old daughter and I stayed in Meson Panza Verde three nights in late May. Our stay was fabulous in every way. First of all, we arrived to the hotel at 830am after taking a red eye flight from California. They not only allowed us to check in at that early hour but they welcomed us to eat... More

I was in Guatemala working for a non profit and after a week in an indigenous community we wanted to splurge on something fancy. The price isn't much of a splurge, we got a double room for $103 (plus taxes) a night. I would love to spend a week here. Our room was behind the dining area but had a... More

Not sure what I enjoyed more, the beautiful room we stayed in or the 5 star dining experience we had. Either way, we loved this enchanting hotel and the 5 star foor and service we recieved throughout our visit.

This place is truly a gem. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and cooperative. We stayed in room 9 tucked away in a little corner in the first floor and it was beautifully decorated with a big bathroom, large tub and sink, small walk in closet, comfortable bed, and a glass wall that led to a beautiful... My boyfriend and I stayed in suite 7 for two nights. Our room was wonderful, right above the restaurant so we had our own terrace and looked out on the patio by the art gallery. We enjoyed drinks and dessert both nights in the restaurant. The live music is a nice touch, and the tiramisu was the best I have... More
