We stayed in this hotel for two nights in April, 2012. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Very nice and very well maintained grounds (locals go there for communion and wedding photos). Good ambience. Room is clean, spacious and nice. Big and comfortable bed. Hotel is walkable distance to anywhere in Antigua. Do not waste your money and your wellbeing on... More

This hotel in Antigua is fantastic. My only reservation in writing about it is that it will be booked up all the time. I love the floral gardens, water features, and outdoor living room with a fireplace, where I can order a margarita. The garden rooms are spacious and creatively decorated and the two level suites are great. There is... More

We spent two nights at Quinta de las Flores on a family trip, staying in one of their Casita's- really a small townhouse. It was beautifully furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous with extensive plantings and many paths to roam and explore. We ate 2 breakfasts which were excellent. Service was superb -... More

Choosing a place to stay in Antigua is very difficult if you you are going for the first time. With literally hundreds of choices at all levels, the options are truly overwhelming. When I began planning a March 2012 visit just a couple of weeks in advance, I quickly learned how difficult the decision was going to be, especially because... More

Every aspect of this hotel is just perfect. The gardens are really stunning, peaceful, restorative, the fountains and pool beautiful, and generally, this was an amazing place to land in Antigua. The rooms are spacious, relaxing, super-comfortable, clean and welcoming leading out into the gardens with all the amenities you would need. The restaurant was wonderful, with really delicious food, breakfasts... Stayed here for a total of 3 nights in late Feb. Wonderful grounds, lush, verdant, and immaculately maintained. Quiet, too. Nice to come back to after a day out and about. The garden rooms are a good choice! More

This was a beautiful space in the middle of the city. Its completely walled off from the traffic outside so that you feel like you are in a private nature sanctuary, but one with a pool, hammocks, gazebos, and fountains. The rooms were spacious and quiet, each with a relaxing private covered patio. The restaurant was laid back, open air,... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in March, and we wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in a garden room, which was spacious and beautiful. The room had 2 comfortable queen sized beds, a fireplace, a high ceiling, and a lovely patio facing the well-kept gardens. We enjoyed the hotel amenties (the restaurant, open-air living room,... I stayed at Quinta de las Flores in September of 2011 with my 9 year old daughter. Our first night we stayed in one of the corridor rooms and found it a little noisy. You can hear the cars driving down the hill. The following night we upgraded to a garden room and loved it! The walk into town is... More

This place is about fifteen minutes’ safe walk from the main square, very peaceful and entirely quiet. Other places in the town can suffer from traffic noise. This is a smallish unpretentious place, not trying to be boutique. Our room was a garden room, and they clearly take enormous pride in their gardens, nicely set to borders, small lawns and... More
