My wife and I visited Antigua and Guatemala for the first time, accompanied by friends who have travelled in Guatemala extensively and who knew Antigua well. The extensive lush gardens, filled with tropical trees, plants, flowers and fountains, were a continual pleasure for walking and the views of the surrounding volcanos were dramatic. We relaxed in the pool and enjoyed... more

We stayed in one of the casitas, which is basically a townhouse. It's great for a family. A truly lovely place. If I am forced to think of a negative, it's that it's a good walk into the center of town. It's barely an issue, as it's a pleasant walk and cheap tuk-tuks can be used if you need a... more

This quiet relaxing hotel is distinguished by its beautiful landscaping. In a several acre compound, the owners have created a serene outdoor space with extensive use of fountains, stone walkways, spectacular flower beds, and various other plantings immaculately maintained by a dedicated staff. The website does not begin to portray the beauty of the grounds, which give the aura of... more

I stayed 3 nights at Quinta De Las Flores at the start of my trip to Antigua. I thought it was a lovely spot, and fantastically good value - I paid US$65 a night. Rooms were large and charming with local crafts and furniture dotted around in the room and the hotel. Comfortable and very large beds! The gardens were... more

This was our second visit to Quinta and we loved it just as much (if not more the second time around). We began our Guatemala trip at Quinta in lovely Antigua. The grounds are so well designed it is like an adventure to uncover all the secret nooks and outdoor spaces that make this resort so unique (the hidden playground... more

This December we went on a road trip in Guatemala, starting in beautiful Antigua. After reading other poor reviews about the hotels in the main area of Antigua, we decided on the Quinta de las Flores. It is out of the main area a bit (really not a big deal @ all) but well worth the trip! It is very... more

Mu husband and I started our guatemalan adventure in antigua at Quinta and absolutely fell in love. The staff at Quinta is so incredibly accomodating and friendly. We felt like we were leaving friends by the time we left. The location is a tad out of the center which is fantastic. We sat by the pool, enjoyed the delicious food,... more

This is a wonderful property just a bit of a ways from the main downtown area in Antigua. My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Quinta de las Flores, and loved every moment of it. The staff is very pleasant, and the room was beautifully done, complete with fireplace and enough wood to keep a good fire going for... more
