We stayed here on a visit to family in Guatemala. Built in the colonial style, beautifully decorated with wonderful textiles and other artefacts, this is a most comfortable and welcoming hotel. The staff are polite and obliging, nothing is too much trouble. The beds and bedding are luxuriously comfortable, breakfast is excellent particularly on the breakfast terrace overlooking two volcanoes.... More

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed one of our best stays ever! This is a quaint boutique hotel with seven unique rooms - each with their own personality. Located at the quiet end of town, you are never more than a short walk from anywhere - or take a Tuk-Tuk if you're tired. We stayed in one room... More

We were a bit undecided bewtween this hotel and a couple more but decided to try this ojne after some personal recommendations. We are so happy we did. Rooms: 7 in total. Ours could have been the smallest one but we had a look at 3 others and they are all great. Bathrooms are A+ as well as the comfy... More

Boutique hotel of only 7 rooms, all with different decoration. Ours was a little small but the beds were so comfortable and a very quirky bathroom. It has little common areas all with comfortable chairs, calling out to you to sit and relax in. The roof top terrace is the icing on the cake, it's so peaceful and a must... More

This is the kind of hotel you only dream about, very nice and warm rooms. Good hotel to spend the whole day, even though the hotel is small and there are not a lot of facilities in the hotel the rooms and common areas are just great to spend the day reading and/or relaxing. Great ambiance and decoration, excellent service... More

Lovely boutique hotel, feels very Spanish colonial. It's like going back in time. A bit dark for my taste, but I'm still giving it a 5. Lovely roof patio where you can have breakfast and watch Fuego spitting plumes of smoke into the air. Some rooms are certainly better than others. Our room had a rather small bathroom, while the... The first accolade goes to the warm and wonderful staff headed by Melita and Anibel, the manager They could not do enough for us and went above and beyond expectations when a minor misunderstanding occurred Each room was comfortable and decorated beautifully There is a small lap pool, but the highlight is the roof top terrace where we read, ate... We stayed for a couple of nights, as part of our honeymoon. The suite that we had had a perfect feel to it. The chimney and fire by the bed was romantic. The terrace view while having breakfast was breathtaking.

We stayed at Posada del Angel for a week over Thanksgiving. I cannot rave enough about this hotel and their staff. Anibal coordinated all of the extra curricular activities for us from climbing the volcano to hiring a guide to take us to Atitlan for the day. Simon greeted us with a smile every morning and a beer or glass... More

My wife and I stayed for one night in this lovely hotel. we stayed in the green room, next to the pool. The hotel decor is a classy example of colonial architecture and design in Antigua Guatemala. The room had a very comfortable bed and a chimney. We had breakfast in the rooftop and there is also a nice little... More
