My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at this family owned hotel. You can truly see the affect it has when the owners are there making sure everything's in order :) the hotel is not too big, an old colonial house, it has a beautiful garden and fountain in the center. The rooms are antique and very well kept. Bathrooms... More

This is a wonderful place to stay in Antigua. The decorations are beautiful and the breakfast is great. It is also quiet, as the streets can be very noisy at night and having the rooms face the inner courtyard is great. The staff is friendly and the gardens are beautiful. I have stayed there twice now and it is consistently... More

I stayed in this family-owned hotel 34 years ago and just this week. Centrally located, terrific price, friendly staff, immaculate, lovely garden with comfortable chairs and sofas, and great, firm mattresses. Call them ahead and arrange for airport pickup. Whenever I told others we were staying there, they always had positive comments.

The Aurora hotel is a pleasant hotel. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable, and overall very clean and tidy. The courtyard is well mantained and their flowers are wonderful. What I found discomforting was the fact because the rooms are all facing the inner courtyard (which is public space) then you can't open the only windows to let... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights on a 3 week vacation to explore antigua. The hotels location is really good, near all the good spots and walking distance to everywhere you need to visit. It was easy to find and the place is beautiful. The courtyard in the middle is beautiful and well maintained. Check in was... More

In this lovely hotel, you can feel going back to real colonial times, XVI Century, with the atmosphere, flowers, service, surroundings, together with comfortable rooms. The food at breakfast is delicious. A place where I would always want to go again.

A group of 20+ of us were in Antigua for a wedding and stayed in rooms of 2-5 people at Hotel Aurora. It was a beautiful hotel, with clean, comfortable rooms and great outdoor space. The suite was huge; fit 5 easily and could accommodate 6 if you're traveling with a big group. Daytime staff speaks English well and everyone... More

Beautiful hotel. Great staff, wonderful rooms. I was here with a large group and the hotel staff handled us all wonderfully. The rooms were very nice, the bathrooms were great. Easy walking distance to most things in Antigua. Had an awesome stay here.

I was in Antigua for a wedding and my friends and I stayed at the Aurora for a long weekend. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. All the rooms surround a beautiful courtyard filled with a fountain and a variety of flowers and plants. The rooms are a decent size and the showers are better than you'd expect... More

My friend and I stayed for 2 weeks at the Aurora Hotel while we were studying Spanish at one of the local schools (CSA - great school but that is another review!). We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room complete with separate closet and dressing area near the bathroom. The room faced the delightful central garden with... More
