Lovely old hotel in the centre of Antigua. Comfortable quirky room in a picturesque courtyard. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Pleasant roof terrace with views of an erupting volcano while we were there. Lovely gardens.

We stayed at this centrally located hotel for 4 nights at the start of our first trip to Guatemala. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a good bathroom. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. The restaurant serves a good breakfast on a veranda overlooking a beautiful garden. One night we sat on the rooftop watching... More

There isn't much to say about this property. It has very good views, food and service. The biggest thing it has going for it is the location. If you are travelling in the region I see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy a pleasant stay.

Excelent location... but that´s it... FOR A $250 I feel robbed. for that price, go to one of many nice boutique hotels instead of this place... the reasons: 1. I booked a room with one big bed and got a two bed insted... hard beds, very noisy bed tructure... and very old and lumpy pillows too... Impossible to sleep on.... More

First time I maneged to get to this place was a lunch just uppon arriving to the town. I was impressed by its charm and old style architecture. Then after one day I moved to this place from another hotel in Antigua. The property is well-preserved in its colonial construction, inside there is a good restaurant with live local music... More

During a walking tour on our first day in Antigua, our guide brought us here to show us a couple of costumes and masks that are inside the entrance. It looked like a very nice courtyard so after the tour we returned and happened upon the restaurant, so we stopped in for lunch. It was in a very nice location,... More

Our stay was incredible~ the view, location, service & food were top notch. Would highly recommend. The breakfast is included in the hotel stay with lots of options including fresh made tortillas. Easy walk to anywhere & enjoy a cervesa with a view of the volcanos.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel courtyard was beautiful. They had a great terrace that we watched the volcano Feugo erupt at night. We got some great pictures. Staff were fantastic. We requested extra pillows a must and yes as per most Central American hotels the beds are a little hard. Our room was very clean and the... More

Stayed one night and paid $180 for a 1 star hotel..what a ripoff. Dissappointed come back to my country and find so many people taking advantage of foreigners. There are several other hotels for the same price with a 4 star rating..please don't be taken advantage of. As an event manager looking for event venues this is one place to... More

We came here some time ago and wanted to review it earlier than today, but it's never too late! We found this a very charming hotel, romantic, cozy and very central. It was nice also when we heard local music playing in the lobby when we got there.... It was a great choice and we recommend it!
