I have been here a few times, the place is beautiful, special feeling, great food, rooms are amazing, but they need to get better people taking care of the restaurant, and train them better how to react to customers when the customer ask for the internet access code, they run away, they are a shamed to tell us that they... We held our daughter's wedding here this month and it could not have been a more special event in such a special place! The attention they offered and the high quality of service was amazing. Our daughter and her new husband loved their suite, the food, the incredible atmosphere and would not hesitate to return or recommend this property. Thank... More

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel in a King room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel because of the location of the architecture, but the service could be better. Pros: Location. We were able to walk to the market and the nearby churches - and all of the restaurants. We were also 1 block from the major... More

This hotel just has an atmosphere to it that can't be replicated. it's magical here! The owners converted a dilapidated convent into a world class. Yet affordable hotel. You can almost sense the ghosts of long-gone nuns walking the corridors. The grounds are stunning with 500 old chapels, crypts, and tunnels mixed with a modern pool and restaurants. If you... More

I didn't actually stay here, but I toured it with my guide, and it is absolutely beautiful and such a unique stay. It's a earthquake damaged convent, church left in ruins, cleaned up, and built around.

Set in beautiful Antigua, Guatemala, this old world hotel combines both history, luxury and service. It is set in a partially restored 16th century Spanish monastery where ancient Spanish paintings and wood carvings surround. The service is exceptional with pleasant helpful staff. The buffet breakfast is delicious. In addition to all this, there is an impressive archaeologic museum as well... More

This hotel is a jewel. It is medium size (120 rooms) and has a lot of tourists visiting the three museums it houses, you would think it would be busy and noisy all the time. It is not. The room we had was on the far side (I asked for a quiet room) and there was hardly any noise at... More

This hotel-museum is quite a gem, I have stayed here before when it was smaller. This time we arrived by car around mid day and we had no help to manage our luggage. It's complicated to find the front desk with no signs. Rooms are big and comfortable, bathrooms are well presented. Food is OK, the bar was definitely no... More

The restaurant and the food were fantastic, even a late night snack. Simple details that truly makes the difference. You do expect that for a hotel this category, but they blow your mind. My favorite area was the pool, they were constantly checking the temperature, food and beverage, and was very clean. Thank you for this experience, hope will be... More

Paseo de los Museos is on the grounds of Casa Santo Domingo. Several museums on same entry ticket. Covers alot of the Guatemalan culture. Their are churchs, workshops, Crypts, and exhibits. Lots to see and give yourself several hours to walk around. Site slso has many resident parrots.
